You have never answered this...because the answer is too
unpleasant for you to address - or perhaps not unpleasant just
too revealing.
I have mentioned repeatedly that I really don't care whether or not
Israel is a racist, colonialist, theocracy. Certainly there are plenty
of other nations that fit that category. What I object to is the constant
claim that Israel is an enlightened nation that deserves a "special relationship"
with the US and billions of our tax money including state of the art military
weapons that are used against civilians.
It is the hypocritical sanctimony that I find offensive and the fact that
our brainless support of Israeli oppression will certainly lead to a
horrific event in this country if we insist on being the enabler of Israeli
oppression.
I oppose aid to Israel for many of the same reasons I opposed aid
to Apartheid South Africa (which of course Israel had close milititary
and economic ties with).
