On the Spanish speaking channel, did you see the couple hold hands and jump? Or hear the dozens of fireman's crickets going off under the rubble? I think CNN has that on their website. Another thing I found especially telling was all of the high-heeled shoes left behind in the debris from the fleeing office workers as tribute to the fact that this was an attack on civilians, as many of our own have been. But knowing all about a terrorist organization will not stop a suicide bomber, something that is known to be almost impossible. What steps our legislature takes as a result of this will certainly be interesting and deserving of our close scrutiny. I do not think we will ever feel as safe as we once did because of this no matter what they do. The State of Mass has now announced information on five suspects and how they killed the flight attendants, stabbed them. There are more horrors yet to come, probably worst than we can imagine. Of course we do not want to give the number of deaths for that is the terrorists' 'kill ratio' and information I am sure they want badly. Has anybody heard an informed speculation of the total? I would not be at all surprised if it goes as high as 15,000 or even higher. Will the real total be suppressed to prevent the perps from feeling such success? And though saddened that I am, I do not blame the ones dancing in the streets for they do not have full news coverage and were not seeing what was done. So many were little kids and old women who only see it as the supplier of their oppressor being damaged. But if you own any real estate in Kabal, I'd say sell quick for tomorrow it will be a glass parking lot. It is hard to bomb a country 'into the stone age' when they are just about still there. Yes, I want to see the guilty punished and I certainly want this finally stopped before it happens again. But is it not tragic that in order to do that, more people will be bombed and more killing? They kill us, we kill them, those others kill each other. Couldn't we bury our dead before more killing but no, that would send the wrong message or give some advantage. Will we ever feel safe again for will we learn to live with one eye on the sky or out for the car bomb or suitcase neutron?
