I think his answer is 'yes'....
I found his post highly offensive. A crazed Moslem fundamentalist sect
intent on conducting a holy war against us is no more representative of
the rank and file of Islam, than the Aryan Nation is representative of
the rank and file of the Christian faith...

Yet Peter Jennings suggested something similar, that airlines will need
to start carrying armed guards on board...now THAT is a scary idea, if
the guards are your usual 'rent a cop' private security guard...
I think a better idea would be to allow -- or even require -- that the
cockpit crew carry sidearms....

He also ignores the fact, or is ignorant of the fact, that Afghanistan is
not the Middle East per se, but Asia Minor....
Also I find it offensive to say we should stoop as low as the terrorists,
and kill innocent women (innocent men, for that matter) and children and
sick and elderly....
