How will we ever know when it ends? These cities are centers for all sorts of things and so many have family in them from all over the country. It is stressing me out. I wish my kids were home with me but then I think what about the kids who will never go home. Those workers are using the only reliable method, digging by hand and bucket brigade. That has to be taking its toll on them. It has to be emotionally devastating as well as physically exhaustive. One said it was worse than Vietnam. The nation is behind them and their efforts. And they are now saying over 20,000. Over by how much? Another ten thousand? Give or take ten thousand? Now they are saying another 10,000 in the mall underneath.
