I appreciate the kudos, but I REALLY don't see myself now as being all that
decent or civil. I've never been "one of those" who touted hatred against
anybody, and I suppose that I arrogantly assumed that I was somehow "above"
that behavior and/or felt somewhat qualified to sit in moral judgement of
those who hate. I have discovered how wrong I was, and that knowledge is
exceedingly painful to me.
As ever, life has varied and often strange lessons to teach, and this is
certainly one case in point. Whereas there was a time when I saw June,
yourself and even Mike at times as at least intellectual adversaries, I now
see the three of you as important components in my spiritual/intellectual
evolution. I cannot thank either of you enough for that.

AMEN!! I don't know what our response will be. I don't know what it
should be. About the only loosely civil idea I can think of now is the
complete, worldwide and absolute isolation of terrorists and terrorist
states; for the world community to cease all trade, dialogue, diplomatic
relations, etc. with these individuals.
