Not sure if I posted this info to this list or not...I'm getting email
regarding this disaster even from non-political/current events list, so
its easy to lose track of what I've sent where....
But in response to some posts regarding prophecies or pseudo-prophecies
of this event, I remembered Mary Summer Rain's books that I read a decade
ago, where she compiles the prophecies of a Native American medicinewoman
known as "One-Eye"...
Not sure where I put the books...I'd like to dig them out; I put them
away because periodically I'd take them out and reread the list of events
that One-Eye had predicted, and it finally got too creepy, all the things
that were coming true...
All these predicted events were signs of what One-Eye called the coming
of the "Phoenix Days"...she had a vision of Mother Earth shaking herself
like a bear coming out of hibernation, after which Mother Earth would
give birth to a phoenix, who would slowly rise from the earth and
eventually encircle it in flame...
These were symbols for a time that we would call Armeggedon...eventually
Mother Earth will heal herself (according to One-Eye's vision), but we
won't like the ride we will have to take to get there....
And what was one of the 'sure signs' that the "Phoenix Days" had begun?
A large fireball over New York City that would result in the deaths of
thousands of people, followed by a major war that would result in
hundreds of thousands of people getting sick and dying"....
Mary Summer Rain interpreted the vision to mean that there would be a
nuclear strike on NYC, but One-Eye's actual words are of a fireball, not
a mushroom cloud....
These predictions are listed out in a couple of books written by Mary
Summer Rain, the last of which was published in the early
1990s...One-Eye's predictions were actually made in the 1970s and early
1980s, though....
