Thanks to all who responded to my message of Sept. 12th. Everyone who responded focused on the car bomb outside the State Dept --- but didn't answer my question at the bottom of my original message [#23887]. I need all the help I can get on this question ASAP. Has anyone heard or learned about any connection between Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein? I've heard a few brief mentions on the news. One British intelligence analyst said Saddam and Osama planned the WTC attack together. Then last night Woolsey said the Iraqis were involved too. The significance of my question is this: On August 23 and 24th, 2001 I was interviewing someone [for a book] who said he had been talking to an Iraqi who ships arms to the PLO from Saddam Hussein's arsenal. The man I was interviewing said the Iraqi told him a catastrophic event would occur in mid-September and the target would be Washington D.C. He said this would set in motion a sequence of events. And he mentioned the beginning of the Jewish New year. This man didn't know the beginning of the Jewish New Year. He thought it might start on September 21st, but he didn't know the exact date. I went to the Internet and noticed that the Jewish New Year begins on a different date each year. There are hundreds of websites on this subject, but they offer different dates for different years --- such as Sept. 21st, Sept. 11th, Sept, 17th, etc. So in August I mentioned to my friends in Washington D.C. and elsewhere that something big was supposed to happen in mid-September in Washington D.C. and the information came from someone in contact with an Iraqi closely affiliated with Saddam Hussein's arsenal. On September 11th my phone rang and my friends wanted to know the name of the Iraqi. I wasn't given his name by the man I interviewed. I'm currently trying to obtain any information which might connect the Iraqis to the WTC/Pentagon attack. The information provided to me by the man I interviewed was just too accurate to be coincidence. In addition, I was interviewing this man because he had knowledge of the OKC bombing which is what my book is about. This coincidence is haunting me [if indeed it is a coincidence] so I'm bringing this to the attention of the group to see if anyone has heard of any connection between Saddam and Osama???
