Would the fighters have been scrambled from Andrews AF Base? If so, how
could it take them that long to get there?
To belabor the obvious:
IF this wasn't an inside job, and IF the military didn't deliberately allow
this to happen, they are SO deplorably incompetent that the solution
absolutely does not lie in throwing more money at them. That goes for intel
too.
