I think the facts speak for themselves. Unilaterally abrogating treaties against
the advice of our allies is foolish. Also I forgot to mention Bush's refusal to
meet with Arafat and encourage Mideast peace negotiations, foolishly
distancing the US from the entire matter and thereby further angering the
terrorists while the killing continued.
I guess maybe you don't find that to be treachery, but I believe Bush is at least
partially responsible for the is horrible attack.
