Nine Eleven

by Kenn Thomas

No one doubts that the disasters of September 11 came as a result of conspiracy. Not just a conspiracy, but a conspiracy of many people sustained over a long period of time.

Current reports have many of the dead conspirators living in the US since the mid 1990s and many others still abiding here somewhere, waiting to do more damage. This is precisely a model of human behavior long rejected by mainstream pundits, critics and commentators about a series of historical events, from Oklahoma City to Dallas.

The refrain often arises when discussing the Kennedy assassination: how could anyone carry out a conspiracy of that magnitude, involving so many people, with a cover-up lasting all that time and nobody know about it?

With that line of argument no longer tenable, a new refrain has emerged: Americans are now pulling together to defeat this vast network of international conspirators!

Despite the official insistence that this is a new type of enemy, the government media response has been one of trying to develop that old-style, give-blood-and-buy-bonds-patriotism.

The rage attendant to the WTC disaster no doubt needs to be channeled some way. Already pointless attacks have been made on Muslims and Arab Americans who have nothing to do with the plane crashes, for instance. This new national acknowledgement of the global conspiracy culture, however, will no doubt redirect that fury into frustration, as conspiracy research has for years with many in America's small circle of respectable conspiracy researchers.

Mind control sleeper agents? What's that all about?

I've been asking the question since I first reported about the three-decades old mind control technology in my book, "Mind Control, Oswald and JFK."

What about the UFO in the Gamma Productions and PAX videos(http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,34238,00.html Scroll to: Video, the attack: East angle 2nd plane hits tower), whose trajectory has it seemingly blowing up a building before the collapse of either tower (http://www.cyberspaceorbit.com/towerblast.html)?

Does the average American really understand the importance of UFO watching now?

It dishonors the victims of the deadly WTC attack to let it degausse our historical memory. As I recently wrote to one regular Steamshovel correspondent who expresses some gratitude that Colin Powell at least hadn't yet called for a nuclear strike against Afghanistan: "Powell, his deputy Richard Armitage and people like John Singlaub and Vincent Cannistraro, who are now emerging in various ways to support Powell, are double dealers from the Iran-Contra days. As you recall that involved a bloody and illegal war and its perpetrators were never successfully prosecuted. And it was a situation that arose from the illegal October Surprise manipulations that brought Reagan to the presidency. Add to it that this administration, Powell and all, was not elected legitimately, then you are really throwing support behind the very pillar of 'extra-electoral' (i.e., secret, conspiratorial) government. Whatever is happening now, including the secret discussion of the use of world-ending nukes, is being conducted behind our backs and without our approval, so we really don't know what kind of 'leadership' Powell is actually providing."

These Iran-Contra figures have a greed for dope--opium is the top cash crop in Afghanistan; and the Octopus tentacles stretch back to the heroin trade in Laos and the Golden Triangle. It brings money on a scale that allows black operations of wide variety around the world, with disregard for civilian law in any country.

Cannistaro, for instance, trained Contras AND mujahdeen rebels to kill civilians. Bush just admitted that he has no problem shooting down planeloads of civilians for a military purpose. It would be wrong to forget the strong suspicion that Flight 800 was a military targeting accident, despite the conclusion of a blue-ribbon cover-up panel.

At the least, the possibility that 'our' armed forces, especially military intelligence, turned a blind eye and allowed this to happen.

Just as all Americans are going back to work now, so too do the students of conspiracy, and if any real understanding of the process of conspiracy has dawned on the public, I hope it has learned to not confuse this with a lack of compassion or patriotism. I see it as quite the reverse.

Before this great tragedy altered the course of all public debate (we'll never learn which oil company secret elites comprised Dick Cheney's infamous secret committee, for instance), the great historian Gore Vidal quoted a March 20, 1996 issue of something called "Strategic Investment" newsletter, on the Oklahoma City bombing: "...the multiple bombings have a middle eastern 'signature,' pointing to either Iraqi or Syrian involvement."

Vidal goes on to note "If McVeigh is simply a 'useful idiot,' a tool of what might be a very large conspiracy, involving various homegrown militias working, some think, with Middle Eastern helpers, then the FBI's refusal to follow up so many promising leads goes quite beyond its ordinary incompetence and smacks of treason."

Just like mind control sleepers and broad-based conspiracies, that may have seemed outrageous to many at one time.
