US, BRITAIN, BUYING COALITION SUPPORT

Contrary to the media spin that other nations are supporting the United States' war on Afghanistan out of a conviction of Osama's guilt or simple moral outrage, it is now surfacing that the United States and Britain, the two nations with the most to gain from the proposed Caspian Sea pipeline to be built after the Taliban is gone, have been bartering for the support of other nations by reversing long standing policies, often to the detriment of the very people those governments are supposed to protect.

In one case, the United States has purchased Iran's support for the invasion of Afghanistan by working to DISMISS the multi-mllion dollar lawsuit brought against Iran by the Americans held hostage in 1979! Tehran will have a voice in the creation of the new, presumably pro-oil-company government of Afghanistan.

Britain has promised Russia that if it supports the invasion of afghanistan, that Britain will return the favor by "cracking down" on Chechnyans living in England.

Syria gets a seat on the UN Security Council for supporting the invasion of Afghanistan.

China gains access to US military equipment parts.

Palestine's price is the withdrawing of a US Senate Bill banning PLO fundraising in the US, and increased US backing for a Palestinian state (although "you know who" will try to prevent this by the usual means).

Malaysia's price to assist the invasion of Afghanistan is access to US and British High Tech surveillence gear.

Pakistan's price for supporting the invasion of Afghanistan is US military aid to keep their own population, who oppose the war, in control. So much for the theory of Democracy that the will of the people is the law of the land. In addtion, the US will reconsider its policy regarding the disputed Kasmir district!

Moral legitimacy is not won on the world stage. It is only purchased.
