Yes, apparently Bill Press (co-host of CNN's Crossfire) does.
Apparently Clinton's most public response was the cruise missile attacks of
1998. They were directed against Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan and followed
the terrorist bombings of our embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. It seems that
Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan refused to share info on whereabouts of
terrorists inside Afghanistan, but U.S. strikes missed bin Laden by only a
couple of hourse. But Clinton was accused of only firing the missiles to
divert attention from the Lewinsky hearings. Had he continued you all would
have had even more of a fit. Clinton then sponsored legislation to freeze
the financial assets of international organizations susbected of funneling
moneyto bin Laden's Al Qaeda (just as Pres Bush did this month), but it was
killed , on behalf of big banks, by Phil Gramm of Texas.
It appears he did lots of other things as well. If you want the real skinny,

from is from 2001 Tribune Media Services, Inc (10-16). Had the Republicans
not spent the entire time of Clinton's presidency concentrating on
publicizing minor sexual picadillos and remembered that the security of the
United States of America was more important than satisfying the corporate
interests of their contributors and the libidinous preoccupation of the far
right, the horrendous attack on the WTC might never have happened, and
September ll, 2001 might have passed as just another day. Prudy
