Dear Newswatch Magazine Listeners/Readers:
Jesus Christ told His original disciples in Matthew 24 general events to "watch" for that would signify His return to this earth to establish the long prophesied Kingdom of God. After all, the gospel - or good news - is that the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed (Daniel 2:36-45; Daniel 7:18, 22, 27). The imminent coming trailing behind these prophesied events is the HOPE of the world - they just don't know it. It is because a small number of people, in comparison to the world's population, will follow the only Savior of this world and are promised a new glorified spirit composed immortal body as a result, that even the unbelievers can have hope (Romans 8:19-30).

This select group of people are required to "REPENT and BELIEVE the gospel." We are required to have a "change of mind" FROM breaking God's Everlasting Covenant for which Jesus came and died to forgive us of breaking (Hebrews 13:20-21) TO obedience. We are to live God's way of life as expressed in that Covenant. In addition, we are to BELIEVE that God will establish His government [kingdom] on this earth as He foretold. We must also believe that God is a "rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11:6).

Later, after Jesus had ascended to "sit with my Father in His throne," He sent a vision to the Apostle John who was exiled on the Isle of Patmos. In that vision He detailed events in more graphic form - not just in generalities. However, He did not bring every detail from the prophesies in the Old Testament books into the Book of Revelation. He did repeat that the "select few" who repented and believed would rule in His kingdom (Revelation 5:9-10; Revelation 20:4, 6). Jesus even told specific churches that IF they overcame He would give them "power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron" (Revelation 2:26-27). This rulership is part of the REWARD promised to overcomers.

Jesus even promised some that they would be made "a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out" (Revelation 3:12). Can you imagine yourself as a possible "strong support" [pillar] in the kingdom of God? Can you think in terms that God and Jesus may be grooming you to be in the temple with Them as a permanent position?

Before that time comes to inherit the kingdom of God, prophesied events will transpire. Jesus prophesied in Revelation 13 that world government would finally be achieved. But Daniel 2:36-45 reveals that the world will be divided up into Ten Global Groupings of Nations along political and economic lines. They will be a one-world-government, but they will have constant differences. The most important knowledge gleaned from Revelation 13:2 is that an "invisible" spirit is energizing this government. It is NOT God's Holy Spirit, rather Satan the Devil who once was known as Lucifer. He and the unseen "fallen angels" will rule behind the scenes. The world will be required to worship Satan through his human agent - called the Beast. This world government will accumulate all military forces under its wings. No one will be able to stand against this system (Revelation 13:4).

This world government is being discussed right now with the "War on Terrorism." Every nation that is not with us is against us and will be visited eventually and overthrown and replaced with a United Nations built government. With this terrorism scare comes tightened security. This security is nothing more than the opportunity to centralize police powers on the Federal level - Homeland Security. This is nothing more than an extension of State Department Publication 7277. We will turn over all of our military personnel and equipment to the United Nations in 3 stages. The third stage will see our military reduced to only secure our internal infrastructure. Now it is being called Homeland Security.

The anthrax scare followed by the potential for smallpox will eventually create panic in America. Could it be that those who show signs of these will be taken by train to specified hospitals for their shots? Anyone who refuses to take the shots will be held in "holding camps?" Will Christians be the eventual target of this New World Order? YES!!! Revelation 13:7 says clearly this system will "make war with the saints."

Then we must give everyone papers to identify themselves as American citizens. This will probably lead to an identity card. You will need this form of identification to be able to buy and sell - eventually on the right hand or forehead (Revelation 13:16-18). America, it is coming! The fulfillment of Bible prophecy. WATCH AND PRAY THAT YOU CAN ESCAPE THESE THINGS THAT ARE COMING (Luke 21:36).
