This degenerate monstrosity, commissioned by the Center For Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia, is titled the Model State Emergency Health Powers Act. It is intended to be a templet for various state laws that will be written in the future to deal with any national health emergency--real or contrived. The exquisitely totalitarian draft model contains the following Stalinist provisions: *The public health authority is to be given absolute power and authority over the bodies of all citizens in its jurisdiction. *With no court order required, the public health authority can "compel a person to submit to physical examination and/or testing" immediately upon command. *If a person refuses to submit to such medical examination, he will be guilty of a misdemeanor. *Any physician or health care provider who refuses to perform the exam will be guilty of a misdemeanor. *Any order for examination issued by the public health authority shall be immediately enforceable by the police authority. *The health authority can compel a person to be vaccinated. Individuals refusing to be vaccinated will be liable for a misdemeanor. An order for vaccination of any individual "shall be immediately enforceable by any peace officer." *The public health authority may perform "tests" on any person or animal, living or deceased. (*Places of relocation, quarantine and isolation shall be set up by the state. *Any citizen--even if he is merely suspected of being exposed to a disease-- can be relocated and forced to remain indefinitely in isolation and quarantine upon order of the public health authority. Persons will be releas ed from isolation or quarantine only by order of the public health authority. *A person's health records can be disclosed to any government agency or authority. * The public health authority may waive any or all licensing requirements of those health care providers who will carry out their duties in the testing and treatment of the public under the law. *The public health authority may refer citizens to "mental health support personnel" to address "psychological responses to the public health emergency." *The public health authority will have the power to enforce the provisions of the law through fines, penalties and the issuance of additional orders. * Neither the state, nor the governor nor any other government official, nor any public health authority shall be liable for the death of or injury to a person, or for damage to personal property as a result of complying with any rule or regulation of the Act. This Model statute has to be the most noxious, brutal machination that any political terrorist could possibly contrive. It a collective, sticky wet dream of power-drunken maniacs-- creatures who, in my imagination, look a lot like Josef Mengele. Citizens subject to these provisions would have minus zero human rights. In a nightmare world envisioned by this model legislation, not a single ash of the Constitution could be found. In a cruel world where such provisions are backed by police power, humans would be reduced to captive animals on the way to the state-selected slaughterhouses. Picture trainloads of "diseased" persons being routed to special destina tions where they are greeted with armed guards to keep them "safe." Pure and simple, the Model State Emergency Health Powers Act is Auschwitz revisited. Citizens of every state in the Union must be determined that their state legislatures never-- under any circumstances-- adopt the draconian provisions of this grotesque draft. We must also make sure that the Congress does not slip these murderous chains upon us in some devious federal legislation. We have our job cut out for us. But right now, I can't think of a more important job to have!
