http://www.beyondcommunion.com/ In the text for the book jacket on "The Hunger" it says, "He has traveled through many parts of the world, working in fields as diverse as intelligence and filmmaking." (Synopsis courtesy of William Morrow & Company, Inc.) Whitley has been defending himself against accusations that he works/worked for intel for years, but this book jacket bio has been at the "Beyond Communion" site for a very long time. What's so funny is that only recently has there been a disclaimer added to this synopsis: "[This bio, from the first edition of The Hunger was not written by Whitley Strieber. According to the author, the publisher sensationalized some parts of his life in this bio, particularly the part about having worked in fields "as diverse as intelligence..."]" To prove that this disclaimer was only a recent addition, I looked up beyondcommunion.com at archive.org. Sure enough, there was no such disclaimer as recently as the July 22, 2001 archived site. The next archive date was Sept. 24, 2001, and there it is. What a hoot - a how about that timing?
