I suspect that what you remember seeing was something regarding the so-called "Bimini Road", the blocks that started appearing in 1967 just as Edgar Cayce had predicted... It seems that what the Canadians have discovered is something in addition to the "Bimini Road"... I remember back in the late 70s or early 80s, either National Geographic or Smithsonian magazine (I subscribed to both, so I'm not sure which it was) had an article on studies that had been done on the "Bimini Road", and stated that the conclusions that had been made at that time was that the so-called 'road' was really the top of walls that had been built to enclose a harbor, and that its construction strongly suggested a Phoenecian influence; it was conjectured that if more underwater archeological studies were undertaken in the area, that evidence of a city would be found nearby...perhaps that is what the Canadians have discovered... I always thought it was interesting that a mainstream magazine would print an article postulating that the Phoenecians had not only sailed to the New World, but had actually built at least one major port; I also found it interesting that this study disappeared from the mainstream as quickly as it had arisen...
