Dear Colleagues,
Today, Narco News begins a new project in authentic journalism.
Since September 11th, the Internet has been proliferated with "war logs,"
the day-to-day comments of writers about a world at war.
We were impressed by the idea, and so we have appropriated it. Today, we
launch a "war log" by a correspondent from the drug war battlefields.

Today we publish interviews and photos from the Viedma Hospital in
Cochabamba Bolivia, conducted yesterday, with victims of the US-imposed "war
on drugs" who suffered bullet wounds for their peaceful protests against the
occupation of their lands and the forced eradication of coca crops.
The "war log" will be updated as we continue our direct reporting on the
immediate history from the drug war front.
