waiting list at Vancouver Public Library and he lectures on the subject.
While David Ingram will not agree that there was political motivation
("conspiracy") behind the sudden and unexpected cancellation of his
popular current affairs tv show, I cannot support such a position which I
have to say (with all due respect to David who is one of my "media
heros") that this is politically naive. I have seen the lives and careers
of two prominent lawyers, Jack Cram and Dr. Bruce Clark utterly destroyed
by the political-judicial establishment of BC because they took too strong
a stand for First Nation rights. It is politically correct and even
fashionable to go "just so far" in this direction. But Ingram interviewed
Annett and Ingram took the position (which is pretty well correct in
law) that ALL OF BC BELONGS TO FIRST NATIONS. I say "pretty well" because
I think settlers have some rights in law too and I don't think even the UN
courts would concede all of BC to First Nations.
Ingram seems naive about how much he disturbed the establishment of BC
with his show. The political-judicial establishment of BC runs roughshod
over the constitutionally guaranteed "democratic rights" of a "democratic
society" (Canada, unlike USA has a democracy by constitution). People
become defeatist in their attitudes as they "go along" between elections
and then every 4-5 years elect in a new shift for the dictatorship of the
plutocracy in a tweedle dum/tweedle dee pseudo election. Ingram brought up
the controversial issues from the De-Tax Movement to Chemtrails to the
Gillian Guess Case. The Gillian Guess Case BTW was near the top of the
list at Harvard Law School for current cases of importance to law
students. Put all of this together and what do you get? A picture of
massive corruption in the political-judicial establishment of BC. Ingram
himself does not seem inclined to see that picture. Jack Cram's demise
came about because he did see it that way and he called it that way. BC
Legislator Judy Tyabji was on BCTV at the time saying, "Jack Cram isn't on
trial. The judicial system of BC is on trial". Indeed, that is what Cram
was doing. He was actually attempting to put a judicial system on trial.
That is what Ingram was doing without knowing it.
There are volumes to add to this including the story of why a sitting BC
premier would have his home raided by RCMP after dark in an unprecedented
action and now finds himself under criminal charges before the BC
courts. Join us if you want to discuss a real conspiracy story in "super,
natural, BC" as our tourism slogans call us.
