What the writer fails to point out is the fact that it takes YEARS for a movie to be made, from initial proposal through gaining funding to getting the script written and the actors lined up through filming then editing and composing and recording the score and the rest of the soundtrack.... The usual timeline is at least 3 years...if a production is really rushed, it may be able to be done in a year or two, but the current crop of pro-war films could NOT have been done in only the past 3 months... Which makes the timing of their release pretty suspicious, and suggests that the Hollywood-Washington lovefest is NOT a new development, but in fact has been in the works for some time, only now being made public... A few weeks ago AMC had a documentary that profiled the close relationship Hollywood has had with the spook agencies for years, and that indeed the CIA has had editorial control over storylines since the 1950s...
