Does anyone else find this statement very ODD? If the mere act of swallowing a pretzel brought on a decrease of heart rate, why couldn't it happen again? Is there something special about the pretzel in question to justify a conclusion that this was a one-time occurance? What is it about a pretzel that would decrease heart rate anyway, and ostensibly NOT cause choking? If we were told that the 'temporary decrease in heart rate' was brought about by Bush choking on a piece of pretzel, it may be understandable; but not one story has mentioned that he choked, only that he 'fainted' (which sounds oh so much milder than 'the President passed out')...
