-Caveat Lector- The Marines are still (and rightly so, I might add) seriously pissed about Mogadishu. It was a poorly conceived military action, no matter which way you look at it. But the Marines do not forget nor forgive.
But to win this war we are to police the world? Know your enemy ... and it doesn't help that we have propoganda shite like "Black Hawk Down" in theaters right now, but that is no accident. And, eventually, it will lead to Saddam, no matter if there is proof. It never matters, really, not anymore. I believe this is the buildup to the Last Great War, but it will take a long time coming, even from here, and will not be easy to record in history as a result, with the victors constanty rewriting history at every turn. This must be done very carefully if it is to be done correctly, lest one piece slip out of place. No, Somalia is no friend to the US, but nobody likes fingers in their pies.
