alleged family names for those of Plantard. Compare his bibliography to
that of HBHG.

A bogus organization, not recognized by any legitimate European
royalty.
"Prince" Michael is a Belgian named Michael La Fosse. The Duchy of
Albany has been vacant since 1919, when it was stricken from the Roll
of Peers because the then-Duke of Albany Karl Eduard collaborated with
the Germans in WW1.

Springmeier uses HBHG as his major source. Even Baigent, Leigh, and
Lincoln admit they were suckered in by Plantard, de Sede, and de
Cherisey. De Cherisey admitted he fabricated the genealogies in HBHG.

Is there an author? If this is the "Lobineau genealogy", see above on
HBHG.

The "cottage industry" writers, who followed HBHG, are not the best
sources of information; many of them have an agenda to push. Best bet
is to research primary documents yourself, if possible. Next best is
peer-reviewed scholarly journals (not popular magazines, which go for
sensationalism over facts) and accepted scholarly references like
Burke's and Debrett's for royal genealogies. Faux royals are a dime a
dozen. And the chances are pretty good that, if you are of Western
European descent, you have "Merovingian blood" in your ancestry. So I
guess most of us on the list could claim the throne, couldn't we? You
can have my claim to the throne, Mike; I'll settle for being Queen of
the Universe in the eyes of my sons. :-D
