Taxpayer Money to Subsidize
Senior Center for Homosexuals
By Fred Jackson (AgapePress) - A key voice in the pro-family movement is speaking out against one Florida county which plans to use taxpayers money to fund a homosexual seniors center. Reports in the secular media about the proposed homosexual day-care center in Broward County have hailed it as a first of its kind -- and another example of Florida blazing a trailing for seniors. USA Today reports Browards Agency on Aging has agreed to give the center $200,000 from federal funds designed to relieve family care-givers. Proponents are even using President Bushs faith-based social services program to argue their point because the center would be housed on the grounds of a church in Fort Lauderdale which happens to be predominately homosexual. Janet Folger is a Christian radio personality and national director for The Center for Reclaiming America, a Christian ministry based in Fort Lauderdale. She says this is nothing more than "state-sponsored discrimination" -- and that it amounts to the taxpayer being forced to subsidize homosexuality. http://headlines.agapepress.org/archive/1/222002b.asp While we were sleeping, the enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat.
