Good reliable sources here. Is this before or after the Mossad blew up
the Twin Towers?

It is possible that the Mossad assassinated Hobeika. Couldn't happen to a nicer
guy. But it is MORE LIKELY that he was killed by the Syrian secret service
under whose orders he perpetrated the massacre.

At this point, both scenarios are possible.
