BF>I forward this from a Christian website. I will let the discerning
pray and meditate upon it. I would say, in my own opinion, not claiming
any kind of Divine Inspiration, but simply going with my own
perceptions, my view is that this represents a cardinal mistake made by
many Christian believers about the End Times. If we read the Book of
Jonah, and much of the literature of the Jewish tradition, we see a
sense that we are called to be active in the world. From the Prophets'
call to repentence to Rabbi Lerner's call to "Tikkun Olam", Jewish
traditions have often been about the ability of evil social structures
to be overcome through repentence. Rabbi Lerner himself hopes to heal
the rift between ancient brothers. Whether he is right, or too trusting
of those who seem to prefer martyring themselves to peace, remains to be
seen. He is, however, standing in the humane traditions of the Baal
Shem Tov and many who trusted love over determinism.
Having said that, it is also the case the the Tanakh, the Hebrew
Bible that is, is often very "determinist". Judaism does not have the
Book of Revelations. If it did, I would call this an iron-clad case.
However, it does not. It does have a tradition of calling other nations
around it to repentence. Jonah did this. The Bund, however imperfect
its ideology, did this in the early twentieth century. Perhaps John the
Revelator, if he did have a measure of Divine Revelation for us today
(based on Essene prophecies?), can do this for modern America. Pray,
and do not take this up with me if you do not recognize that at least
some of the truth may be here.
Here goes trouble. Trouble is my middle name.

Is America actually in Bible prophecy? Most bible prophecy "experts' will tell you that America is not in Bible prophecy at all. Hal Lindsey, writing for WORLDNET DAILY recently claimed that America is not in prophecy. His viewpoint is held by the multitudes of preachers, teachers and evangelists in America. But it that viewpoint valid, or is it in itself a FULFILLMENT of the prophecies AGAINST AMERICA?

People seem to think that you do not love your country is you post anything contrary to the prevailing public opinion. But true love warns of ACTUAL TRUTH, and not just people's opinions about it. What does the Word of God actually have to say about?

This presentation is a FIVE PART PRESENTATION of what Scriptures has to say about it. No American can afford not to know what God has to say concerning this nation, how it was formed, how it grew, and what its destination and end shall be. SONS OF THE REPUBLIC, LOOK AND LEARN:
