This is a note I sent Matt here, along with an article I found at Rep.
Dennis Hastert's website, with 2 of Matt's replies to start the ball
rolling.
Peace,
Preston Peet

It seems official US Gov policy here is to totally ignore what their
partners are doing. The documentation on this is so heavy that it either
takes either fools or liars to say they don't know what the Thai are really
doing to people here.
So now the Thais shelled, mortared, and ambushed a village, killed most the
people in it, burned it with the bodies and the children alive. About two
kilometers from my wife's village across the border in a village that I,
maybe sort of like David Eubanks, took medicine too. I lost friends, a
young women who was shot through the chest when she came out of the hut at
6am. (http://www.drugwar.com/akhaFeb122002.shtm)
The children weren't so lucky.
This is another american dirty war.
Matthew
