um, I can only judge by how much *I* was wrong about when I started

We have been lied to about just about everything all our lives.
Longer than we've been alive they've been building "Cognitive
Dissonance" into the system.
Here's what I trust:
*ANY* god that plays favorites like a mother that whispers "you're
my favorite" to each of her sons to set them up as rivals, that's a
false god, an evil god, worthy of spit.
"Greater Good" is a code-word for Evil with a Capital E.
An adamant refusal to lie cheat or steal is a source of magical
power and protection. Anything else is your own business and merely
a matter of taste.
The whole concept of "sin" as something somebody else does that has
to be controlled...that's a festering ground for repression.
I know that God made everyone and everything absolutely perfect for
some purpose, and the only thing the real god that holds molecules
together by ongoing miracle expects of us is that we say thankyou
once in a while, and quit whining for more.
I believe we are innately good. I can't find a single war that was
not incited by the Secret Society "Intelligence Operations" that
might claim to be on different sides as necessary, but *all* play
footsie-under-the-sheets.
The evil cannot be "fought" as fighting only brings about more evil.
It can be poofed. As soon as it loses the protection of whatever lie
gives it power from good, it becomes nothing, utterly powerless.
