}}}>Begin Hog Heaven: Harleys Headed to SC to Join In Blockade By Art Northrup, Jr. Published 03. 19. 2002 at 0:44 PST In response to all the anti-flag activity in South Carolina, a group of folks on Harleys will meet @ a place called Rockin' & Racin' which is about 1 mile west of I-77 on Hwy. 150 - that's Exit 36, Mooresville, North Carolina, on the 20th of April (Sat.). The guy who owns Rockin' & Racin' is a Harley rider & there seems to be a pretty sizeable group who has already said they'll go. Any cars, pickups or vans may follow in the rear. The plan is to ride down to Columbia, South Carolina, Dixie flags a-flyin' all the way, circle the Statehouse several times & return to the starting point. It is being stressed that no weapons will be allowed & no confrontations will be allowed - the run is to be a show of support for South Carolina to keep the Confederate flag flying & to not buckle-under to pressure from the NAACP. I'm going to try to make that run & I have a 3' x 5' 3rd National flag which I'll have to figure out how to put on a pole & attach to my Sportster. If I can't go, I'll let someone else fly my flag. Anyway, I wanted to let you know about the run & my neighbor says if he can arrange it, he'd like to do a run every week! I realize that a long line of Harleys flying Dixie will scare the bloody-mortal-hell out of some folks & draw a lot of attention from the constabulary, but if everyone stays in line & nobody starts any BS, it could be a positive thing.
