Well, so much for experts and their expertise.  It's interesting that the U.S. is knee-
jerking this thing after having spent so many years having had only isolated incidents
of extremistic actions and events.   Why should we turn to those who haven't been
able to stop these kinds of things when we've been able to prevent them in large part
for as long as they've been escalating in the Middle East, as long as they've been
able to reap the benefits of their inventiveness?  And, do we want the jinx over here?
