-Caveat Lector- There are now new irradiated food products showing up in the local markets such as Safeway (how ironic) now labelled as the most advanced technology, cold pasturized for many months of shelf life. This was applied to some vacuum packed 'Avocado Dip' that claimed to contain no artificial ingredients and completely natural. What a crock of shi#!!! Not that this was unexpected, but it is just so much crap that I think I am going to leave a certain deposit I acquired from my neighbors dog, at the front door of my local store as an offering of 'support'. Cold pasturized and vaccum packaged, naturally!

(The local Corte Madera, CA Safeway store also reportedly caused hearing loss in some employees due to construction work involving *jackhammers* used inside the store during business hours to install a new Starbuck$. I reported the incident to CALOSHA and last I heard the employees were involved in a class action suit against Safeway.
