-Caveat Lector- The points he makes in the rest of the article are interesting. But this "single burning candle" significance seems like quite a stretch. It is not sitting on a menorah, it's just a burning candle. For him to read so much into it is weird. IMO it is a candle meant to indicate that the power is out, period.
