-Caveat Lector- the news from the south of england is that a christian gentleman with placard espousing the rights of marriage and the wrongs of homosexuality in the town of bournemouth was attacked and knocked to the ground by a group of 40 homosexual rights activists. The elderly christian was assaulted as he lay on the ground and was in a state of shock. two police arrived - one wanted to arrest the christian, the other wanted to arrest the gays. they eventually arrested the christian who was taken to court and prosecuted under the new 'hate and intolerance' laws for the perceived insult of gay lifestyle. the magistrate ordered that he pay a fine of �300 - about 450 dollars and that his Christian placard 'be destroyed'.
