WBCR RADIO: CONGRESSMAN JIMMY DUNCAN (R-TN) DISCUSSES "TREASON BY
PRESIDENT BUSH"
16 MARCH 2002 (5:00PM to 6:15PM SUDDEN-DEATH OVERTIME)
[Begs the question: If a "child" will shoot a Catholic priest
over a homosexual rape that occurred over 20 years ago, what will
these irate families do to Bush et al for premediated torture and
mass murder? And who in "Law Enforcement" is going to step up to
the plate and bypass Bush's "self investigation"? Does NY and
Virginia have the death penalty?]
WBCR Radio, Alcoa, Tennessee
[transcript under construction]
Webmaster John Lee: "Also, I was wondering what the procedure
would be if an employee of the US government turned out to have
committed treason on 911, such as the Joint Chiefs or George
Bush?"
Harry Rothjohn: "Congressman, did you hear that question?"
Congressman Jimmy Duncan (R-TN): [Answering the first question
and discussing his home that burned down two years ago, and the
arson of his neighbor's business property, coincidentally during
litigation at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (nuke bomb factory
and nuke waste dump) over half-billion dollars in contracting
fraud, and the "accidental" arson of this webmaster's home in a
towering inferno, confessed to by the "fire-prone" contractor of
our Skull & Bones mayor, paid Billions of taxdollars to demolish
then "renovate" downtown Knoxville.]
John Lee: "Also, I was wondering what would the procedure be if
an employee of the US government - turned out to commit treason?
Like the Rosenburgs were executed, I believe, a long time ago,
but I don't think anybody has been executed since."
Congressman Duncan: [Speaking in a lowered tone] "If any American
president commits treason... The law against treason applies from
the president on down - I mean, that's one of the most serious
crimes in this nation... But it is a very serious crime. I don't
know if anyone's committed that."
John Lee: "But if they are, you'd be all for having them
arrested?"
Congressman Duncan: "... any military person or anyone else for
that matter...
John Lee: "You're aware of Operation Northwoods, where the
Pentagon in '63 was planning to hijack US airliners, blow up US
ships, and attack Washington DC with terrorist bombings, to blame
Cuba. And then, of course, Bush is in business with the Bin Laden
family, and has been for years - in oil, in military contracts,
bioweapons contracts. That's kinda strange. That sounds like
'probable cause' to me."
Congressman Duncan: "Well, I don't know... I did hear something
one time about that Operation Northwoods. I don't know the
details of that. That goes back long before my time. That's
almost 40 years ago, and I don't know all the details of that. I
do know that, I do know that, I don't know a lot about the Bin
Laden family, but... some of that's legitimate business, so I
don't know the details about that... Hello?"
John Lee: "Yes, that is strange. And the reports that CIA met
with Bin Laden back in July in a US military hospital in the
Middle East. And the fact that..."
Congressman Duncan: "I do know that it did come out in many
publications, that, uh, the CIA did work with Bin Laden, back
years ago.... One time we sided with Iraq against Iran back in
the '80s."
John Lee: "Sure. Iran-Contra stuff. Well, wasn't Bin Laden the
Secretary of Defense for Afganistan when we gave them
$130-Million last year? Colin Powell cut them a check."
Congressman Duncan: "Yes, we have given Afganistan quite a bit of
money over the years, and we're going to be giving them a whole
lot more... to help build up, yesterday and today, but it's been
put off until next week - the Afgan Reconstruction Act, and
that's over a Billion dollars. And I can tell you I will be
voting against it.... You can buy a whole contry for that."
John Lee: "Sure. Help Haliburton get their oil pipeline finished
up."
Congressman Duncan: "As much money as they're talking about, just
divide it up and, the population over there, gosh, they'll have
more money than they've seen in a long time."
John Lee: "Well, that's all the questions I had."
Harry Rothjohn: "Thank you, John, for calling."
Congressman Duncan: "Yes, Sir."
John Lee: "Thank you."
Harry Rothjohn: "... That was W199I, in August. It has been
released. It was a secret document - it wasn't supposed to have
gotten out, but apparently it has gotten out. And it directed the
FBI and the military intelligence people to leave the Al Quida
alone, in the United States. Are you aware of that?"
Congressman Duncan: "I don't know, Harry, I haven't heard...
Harry Rothjohn: "Well, if I can get you a copy of this document,
would you be willing to talk about this treasonous act of prior
knowledge?"
Congressman Duncan: "I don't know. I haven't heard about that
presidential directive, although I will say this - I co-sponsored
a bill with Roscoe Bartlett to really, uh, cut down on the things
that the president can do by executive order. Because for most of
the history of our country, executive orders were just used for
routine houskeeping, minor administrative-type things, but in
recent years, presidents have come in and done really significant
things - even legislative law-making-type things through
presidential directives and executive orders. That's not right,
and I think it's very much an abuse of, in particular, the way
that President Clinton handled that executive order power. In
fact, his top advisor, Paul..., was quoted one time." He said, 'A
stroke of the pen - law of the nation. Pretty neat, huh?'
Something like that, how easy it was to, uh, do all kinds of
things.... There's a lot of that stuff going on up here. It's not
about the environment, it's not about education, it's not about
healthcare, it's not about anything you can think of other than
Big, Big Money."
Harry Rothjohn: "I couldn't agree with you more. Even the Wall
Street Journal reported that Bush family is in business with the
Carlyle Group that has the Bin Laden family in that same loop,
that same business. Building military installations and oil
pipelines all over the world. Consequently, you know, it's
apparent to any casual observer. I think the Atlanta
Constitution-Journal had a poll that had an opinion about the
government prior knowledge of 911. And the public opinion poll,
after 2 days, was taken down because it was too much an
embarassment to the administration, because 52% of the people
responding to their polls believed that the administration had
prior knowledge to this attack."
Congressman Duncan: "Well, I hadn't seen that poll. But when I
was
talking about how all this stuff goes back to Big money. I did a
program in which I talked about prescription drugs and the high
cost of medicine - why these pills cost so much. And it's the
federal government.... And it's not just the medical industry,
the small guys are run out of business, then the medium-sized
guys go next. Every highly regulated industry ends up in the
hands of a few big giants." [Selling "deregulation" in a city
with the world's larest nuke waste dump, the worst air pollution
in USA, and home of the CEO of the world-wide cartel of
garbage/nuke-waste, scrap metal (OK City bombing and WTC
bombings), tow-trucking (Mafia-connected/convicted car-theft
cartel), and Republican mayor and governor doubling taxes despite
record surpluses in order to drive out manufacturing businesses
from USA, remove college education classes from 30% of Tennessee
students, and close down thousands of acres of public parks.
Alcoa is home of ALCOA Corporation, formerly headed by current
Treasury/IRS secretary Paul O'Neil who laid off 1,500 employees,
moved operations to Mexico and paid himself a $15-Million bonus.
The next day, Rothjohn admitted an associate of the Stewart Best
Report radio show was "waving his arms around" to cut off this
esoteric investigation into organized crime by Bush, et alia.]

BUSH HAD HIJACK WARNING
NEW YORK POST, May 16, 2002 - Intelligence officials warned
President Bush in the weeks before Sept. 11 that Osama bin Laden
and his terror henchmen might have been plotting to hijack
passenger airliners, the White House said last night. The
warnings came in the first 10 days in August. "There's been a
long-standing awareness in the intelligence community, shared
with the president, about the potential for bin Laden to have
hijackings in a traditional sense," said White House spokesman
Ari Fleischer. "The information the president got dealt with
hijackings in the traditional sense," he added. But evidence has
surfaced in recent weeks that intelligence and law-enforcement
officials had evidence something bigger might have been in the
works: A classified memo written by a Phoenix FBI agent last
summer urged the bureau to investigate a number of Middle Eastern
men enrolled in American flight schools, citing bin Laden as
someone who could organize such flight training. Last August,
shortly after the arrest of accused bin Laden terrorist Zacarias
Moussaoui, a Minneapolis FBI agent on the case wrote in notes
that Moussaoui was the kind of person who might "fly something
into the World Trade Center." A French investigating judge and
terrorist hunter had presented the FBI information weeks before
Sept 11 warning that Moussaoui was a dangerous Islamic extremist.
Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.), a member of the Senate Intelligence
Committee, said the Phoenix FBI memo "was a very important
warning and it was not heeded. It was not distributed. It was not
acted on."

9-11 VICTIMS RESPOND TO PLOT REPORT
AP, NEWSDAY - Some relatives of Sept 11 victims are seething over
revelations that President Bush got advance warnings -- not
shared with the public -- that Osama bin Laden's terror network
might hijack U.S. planes. "My wife, had she known, would not have
taken that flight," said Stephen Push, whose wife of 21 years,
Lisa Raines, was killed aboard the hijacked plane that hit the
Pentagon. "It's shameful that they know as much as they did and
didn't warn anyone," said Push, of Great Falls, Va. "They put the
business interests of the airlines above the lives of the
citizens."

SOME FAMILIES OF VICTIMS IRATE AT REVELATIONS
FOX NEWS - "For the safety of ourselves and our fellow citizens,
we want an investigation to make sure something like Sept. 11
never, ever happens again," said Kristin Breitweiser, whose
husband, Ronald, died at the World Trade Center. She is part of
group of Sept. 11 widows from New Jersey who are organizing a
rally for victims' families and friends on June 11 at the U.S.
Capitol. The purpose is to support a bill introduced by Sens.
Joseph Lieberman, D-Conn., and John McCain, R-Ariz., that would
establish a national commission to investigate the attacks. "I
want accountability," Breitweiser said. Breitweiser said she
became convinced shortly after the attacks that U.S. authorities
mishandled clues that could have helped avert the carnage. "They
said they couldn't connect the dots, but once the dots were
connected and the picture was drawn on the morning of 9/11, why
did they do nothing?" she asked. "Why was the president allowed
to sit for 35 minutes with a group of second graders when this
country was under attack?" Donn Marshall of Marbury, Md., whose
wife, Shelley, died at the Pentagon, also questioned Bush'
actions. "It sort of makes you wonder where the get-tough
president was when he was getting all this information, why they
didn't react act more vigorously," Marshall said. "The notion
that American planes might be hijacked, that should have caused
more concern, even if we didn't think that they might be flown
into things." Bill Doyle of New York City, whose son, Joseph, was
killed in the World Trade Center, said he has received numerous
phone calls from other victims' relatives, all distraught over
the recent revelations.

Text of her statement

McKinney said she won't shut up on Sept. 11, claims she was
wrongly derided
By MELANIE EVERSLEY
Atlanta Journal-Constitution Staff Writer
Washington -- Cynthia McKinney appeared to feel vindicated
Thursday, after revelations that the Bush administration had
warnings before Sept. 11 about possible airplane hijackings.
A few weeks ago, the Democratic congresswoman from DeKalb County
drew "widespread" criticism for "suggesting" on a radio show that
the administration had prior knowledge of the attack.
On Thursday, McKinney explained what it was like to be ridiculed.
[But praised by honest news radio hosts - "on the right" - and by
millions of intelligent Americans]
"I was derided by the White House, right-wing talk radio, and
spokespersons for the military-industrial complex as a conspiracy
theorist," McKinney said in a one-page statement. "Even my
patriotism was questioned because I dared to suggest that
Congress should conduct a full and complete investigation into
the most disastrous intelligence failure in American history."
McKinney vowed to continue to express her opinions and reissued a
call for a congressional probe.
"Today's revelations that the administration, and President Bush,
were given months of notice that a terrorist attack was a
distinct possibility points out the critical need for a full and
complete congressional investigation."
She accused the Bush administration of engaging in "a conspiracy
of silence" by opposing congressional hearings.
"If committed and patriotic people had not been pushing for
disclosure, today's revelations would have been hidden by the
White House," she said.
"Ever since I came to Congress in 1992, there are those who have
been trying to silence my voice. I've been told to "sit down and
shut up" over and over again. Well, I won't sit down and I won't
shut up until the full and unvarnished truth is placed before the
American people."
Friends, foes stand firm
The furor over McKinney's comments came soon after her March 25
appearance on the "Flashpoints" public affairs program on KPFA, a
public radio station in Berkeley, Calif.
"Now is the time for our elected officials to be held
accountable," McKinney said on the show. "Now is the time for the
media to be held accountable. Why aren't the hard questions being
asked? We know there were numerous warnings of the event to come
on Sept. 11. Vladimir Putin, president of Russia, delivered one
such warning. Those engaged in unusual stock trades immediately
before Sept. 11 knew enough to make millions of dollars from
United and American Airlines, certain insurance and brokerage
firm stock. What did this administration know and when did it
know it about the events of Sept. 11? Who else knew, and why did
they not warn the innocent people of New York who were needlessly
murdered?"
McKinney also detailed how some associates of the White House
stood to gain from the response to the attacks.
"Persons close to this administration are poised to make huge
profits off America's new war," McKinney said. "Former President
Bush sits on the board of the Carlyle Group. The Los Angeles
Times reports that on a single day last month, Carlyle earned
$237 billion selling shares in United Defense Industries, the
Army's fifth-largest contractor. The stock offering was
well-timed. Carlyle officials say they decided to take the
company public only after the Sept. 11 attacks. The stock sales
cashed in on increased congressional support and hefty defense
spending."
At the time of her radio comments, a Carlyle Group spokesman
dismissed McKinney's remarks as fiction.
McKinney's critics demanded to know why she would question the
president, and dismissed her comments as unpatriotic. Her
supporters said they appreciate that McKinney is not afraid to
give her side of the story.
The recent criticisms were among the loudest she has attracted
since coming to Congress in 1992. One of her colleagues, Sen.
Zell Miller (D-Ga.), called her remarks "dangerous, loony and
irresponsible."
On Thursday, McKinney's supporters remembered those harsh words.
Some of them, members of a civil rights organization, went to
Miller's office in Atlanta to demand an apology.
"When Cynthia came out and said what she did, Zell Miller leveled
some very harsh, belligerent and somewhat unreasonable comments
about Cynthia McKinney," said the Rev. Markel Hutchins, president
of the National Youth Connection, a nonprofit group based in
Atlanta.
"Now, I think it is important for the gentleman from Georgia to
do the gentlemanly thing and apologize to the lady from Georgia,"
Hutchins said.
Miller did not follow their advice.
"I have no intention of apologizing to Representative Cynthia
McKinney for my reaction last month to her comments about the
Bush administration," Miller said. "McKinney charged that the
Bush administration deliberately covered up advance knowledge of
the attacks in order to profit from them. It was a loony
statement last month, and it is still a loony statement today."
The congresswoman acknowledged Miller's remarks.
"Zell Miller was elected by the people of the state of Georgia,
and of course it's a free country and he can say whatever he
wants to say."
Rep. Charlie Norwood (R-Ga.), who had asked House members to
alienate McKinney, also was unapologetic. When asked if Norwood
intended to say he was sorry, Norwood spokesman John Stone
replied, "Of course not."
Stone added, "She's going to say what she has to say and from now
to the end of time, it'll be outlandish."
But Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.), who opted not to comment immediately
after the radio show revelations, heralded McKinney for speaking
her mind despite the threat of criticism and ridicule. Like
McKinney, he said the episode revealed the need for a
congressional probe into how much the administration knew.
"I think she had some information that she was able to retain
from some source and, I hate to put it in this vein, but she may
have the last laugh," Lewis said.
"I'll tell you one thing -- this is a very, very serious matter,"
Lewis said. "If the White House knew, there's a question of why
they didn't share this information with the American people.
They've known all these many months and they've disclosed
everything else, building a case for going into Afghanistan and
tracking down the terrorists, but they never released this
information until now."
Who should conduct probe?
McKinney's comments also drew attention to another issue evolving
on Capitol Hill -- whether Congress or an independent group
should probe what the administration knew and when.
Sen. Max Cleland (D-Ga.) and Miller are co-sponsors of Senate
legislation to set up an independent commission.
Cleland said he does not believe the administration had prior
knowledge. While the FBI and CIA had some information, Cleland
said, there was no system in place to encourage the agencies to
share information. An outside panel would allow a detailed
accounting of what happened because Capitol Hill is too close to
examine the issue objectively, he said.
Lewis, however, said the question should remain with House and
Senate members.
"I think it's the obligation of the Congress to conduct the
hearings on a matter of this nature," he said. "We provide the
FBI, the CIA and other intelligence agencies with millions and
billions of dollars."
