I agree that there should be an investigation. I disagree with your theory that the "NSA" brought about doom on "unwitting" support sailors on the Liberty. It seems obvious that you are ignorant of some aspects of intelligence gathering. Sure, there are a limited number of sailors (those fuckers you mentioned) with the proper training and clearance whose main function is that of intercept, interpretation and dissemination, and that the support and command crew generally are in the dark about the specifics, but they all do know that they are a spook ship.
