First of all, let's remind everyone that "Dr" Laura has a doctorate in something having to do with physiology. The use of her title, albeit earned but in a different field, is deceptive, to the point of lying. As far as "premature sexualisation of our children", what planet did this woman come from? Does she shink that everyone grew up in an air-conditioned mall like she must have (after she got to Earth), watching the Little Rascals (except the parts when Darla is being wooed by the preyouths)? (Psst. Open your eyes Laura; it's okay ... it's natural. People learn to love their friends even at early ages.) Is it so far removed from fifty or sixty years ago (and well beyond) when people used to be able to see even four legged critters performing the "act" without regard to the dirty thoughts some learned folk have about "it" (sex)? Is it so far removed when people didn't worry so much about that other fraud "privacy" and things were heard while they were being done? Because that was a part of life? And, viewed and talked about responsibly, was no big deal? I don't know when or where the myth of the cult of the Eternal Virgin came into being but youngsters have been doing "it" with each other (as contemporaries, at comparable ages) since the little sensations from that period (!) called puberty came into physiological reality (how may thousand s of generations ago). But would we expect someone with a science background, a PhD no less, to understand this? Needless to say, "Dr" Laura's deceptive and at times destructive presentations are no longer surprising; she embodies much of what is wrong with our society, namely the upteenth coat of hypocritical guilt paint on things that are supposedly G*D given. As she was so generous in allowing the world view her in her buff-iness, I would think she would be more agreeable to openness about matters sexual. But I suppose a little too much aging will turn even the best of wines to vinegar, useful for only some things other than drinking. We know that the "Dr" has an agenda about something. We also know that much of what she spits into the microphone is pure venom.
