British scholar Doug Stokes uncovers the multi-million dollar PR campaign by
the Narco-State of Colombia to change public perception in the United States
toward that government, invent a myth of "narco-guerrillas," hide US
involvement supporting narco-paramilitaries, and sell a bloody US-imposed
"Low Intensity Conflict" to the American people.
Using statements and documents by U.S. officials, Stokes then demonstrates
why the myths sold by this PR campaign, by the Sawyer-Miller agency, are
