http://www.etherzone.com/2002/henr061902.shtml NEW WORLD ODOR YOU CAN SMELL IT COMING By: Ed Henry After my last article "Chicken Republicans" one of the members of TUFF, the Taxpayers Union for Financial Freedom, sent me an email that said essentially: What makes you think there will be elections in 2004? By that time, we are liable to be completely under UN control and paying our taxes to The New World Order. Without much of a whimper, the democracy we've been selling to others could be gone, a thing of the past. We are well on the way already. Before you write this off as impossibility, consider the following. In this age of exponential change, and out of the ashes of September eleventh, a crusading America seems to be attempting to dominate the world. The Phoenix of the Oligarchy we've hatched is spreading its imperialist wings over the globe under the banner of a foreign policy that says "if you aren't with us, you're against us." Democracy, as we are supposed to believe in it, has been deteriorating since Tammany Hall ran New York politics for more than 40 years. The underhanded methods that sprang from that era have been developed into an art form. The last elections brought us two full months of chad analysis with Chicago's Daley machine running the show, lawsuits, recounts, and Supreme Court decisions finally resolving our freedom to choose. Half of the country turned out unhappy about an Electoral College they didn't realize existed or didn't understand even though it has been on the books since the republic began. And what has been done to correct the problem and make certain that this chaos doesn't happen again? Nothing. Have probability theorists determined that the chances of a repeat performance are greater than winning the lotto? Is mandating better equipment and standardized forms in national elections and voting precincts too much of a task? Is the government unwilling to improve voting because they might lose some of their sneaky tricks? Or have the New World Order powers decided that it isn't necessary because the system is being phased out anyway? In the fourth chapter of his book "Sellout," David Schippers reminded us of an old Tammany Hall trick his investigators found playing again in Washington, the District of Corruption. Under Al Gore's direction, it was letting immigrants into the country without background checks and providing early citizenship without the usual one-year wait or even language requirements just so they vote for the party doing them the favor. Want to check the "red and blue" map of the last elections against concentrations of immigrants? Have we tightened our borders? Seems to me, I recently heard something about Mexican families suing us because water isn't provided at crucial locations of the New Mexico desert. Anyone for a canoe trip through Minnesota's Boundary Waters or a stroll through the pines? Tell the bears not to maul anyone or we might be sued. Ever since I found our government robbing American workers of their retirement, health care, and other entitlement money, my faith in the "powers that be" has been shot to hell. I don't put anything past them. So let's take this one step further. Supposing the terrorist attacks of 9/11 were not an attack against the American people, our symbols or way-of-life, so much as they were a direct assault on the New World Order? Just entertain the thought for a moment. Osama bin Laden comes from a wealthy Mid Eastern oil family. Unlike the Atlanta bomber that we haven’t been able to find either, bin Laden had previous contact and dealings with quite a few of our own oil barons. Suppose further that in his financial position he knows much more about the New World Order than most Americans and has a deep seated hatred of the imperialist tentacles spreading into his homeland. Would he challenge us to a high tech battle on a defined field or go for our Achille's heel? We haven't won a guerilla war since the American Revolution. Picture two British soldiers leaning on their muskets on Christmas Day, 1776, and one says to the other: Did you hear about the terrorist attack on our German mercenaries in Trenton while they were sleeping this Christmas morning? What sort of blimey cowards would do that? Depends on which side of the gun you're on, doesn't it? If you are staring down the barrel, it's a terrorist attack. If you've got the butt to your shoulder, it's freedom fighting. We've seen this everywhere from Nicaragua to Iran—"from the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli." At the heart of the New World Order, you will find banking and a strong military playing a significant role. The World Trade Center was the heart of international banking, and we all know where the military and our leaders are supposed to be headquartered. Except for a few lone anthrax letters to media people and one poor woman we may never understand, a strong argument can be made for the terrorist attacks being focused on the seat of the New World Order. If so, what does this say about our subsequent response and all the money we're spending on "Homeland Security?" How about the prohibitions against government that we are lessening, elements of the Bill of Rights that we are conceding to terrorism? Are we truly dealing with an age old type of revenge that no one has been able to stop? Even the ancient Greek city of Troy was attacked by terrorists because of a twelve year old girl named Helen. Or are we dealing with a runaway government and possibly a shadow-government that, out of guilt, feels it has almost as much to fear from its own citizens as it does from outsiders? You can't go around the world kicking ass and taking names without expecting some reprisal, and you can't really screw the world just because you've done it to Americans for the last twenty years or so. There comes a time when Paddy Chayefsky's famous movie, of more than twenty years ago, becomes reality and the American people "are not going to take this anymore."
