Actually I gave a bad lead: the best connection is "The Tatum
Chronicles". A google search showed only one Tatum-Gunderson
connection. Mr. Gunderson had interviewed him and his wife for his show.

neutralization of a Mossad agent in 1988, an army Chief of Staff in
1989, the President of a third world country in 1989, and the leader
of a revolutionary force in Central America in 1991.
Ami Nir was killed in 1988.
General Gustavo Alverez was killed in 1989.
Enrique Bermudez, Contra leader and overseer of the cocaine kitchens,
was killed in 1991.
In 1992 I was tasked to neutralize an American citizen. I refused. I
decided that day to leave the Black Operations unit. When I told Mr.
Colby of my decision, he told me that one can't just walk away. I
explained to him that I understood the fate of those who walk away.
For that reason, I began documenting my activities on film, on audio
tapes, and with copies of documents, all of which I compiled through
the years. I explained that the film and tapes were placed in
strategic locations around the world to insure my safety.
I was true to my word. Over the year I remained silent concerning my
knowledge of the illegal activities of my superiors. But two years
after I "retired" from the Black Operations group, I was contacted by
Messrs Colby, North and Rodriguez. I was warned to give up my
documents "or else."
I now know that to turn over my documents would be terminal. My years
of loyalty had been betrayed. With no alternative, I chose to publish
a portion of the documents accumulated through the years. So in 1994 I
began searching for the original flight plans which were in the
possession of a ranking Honduran official.
All flight plans and briefing sheets contained in the Chronicles were
supplied by the Honduran government official. In 1985, the official,
aware of the implications of the documents, secured the flight plans
and the briefing sheets for safe keeping. I began searching for the
original documents in 1994. I was contacted in early 1995 by the
Honduran official who claimed that he had possession of the documents.
For reasons of security and fearing for his life, the official asked
that I arrange a rendezvous with him in Honduras. April 25, 1995, we
met secretly in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, where he supplied certified
copies of the originals. It was agreed that he would maintain
possession of original documents until they were needed by authorities
to seek prosecution of Messrs. Bush, Clinton, North, Rodriguez and
others directly involved in the manufacturing and trafficking of cocaine.
While in Honduras, we were followed by a known US operative.
Fortunately, I detected him early and we were able to out maneuver him
so as not to compromise our meeting or the identity of the Honduran
official. Upon our return to Miami, with documents in our possession,
our car was broken into and my briefcase which, among other things,
contained the keys to our car parked in Colorado Springs, was stolen.
The documents, however, were not in the briefcase. They were held on
my person, taped to my body. We were fortunate that my wife had her
set of keys on her. Two weeks after returning to the United States, my
wife and I were detained by the FBI. Our household goods were
confiscated and rifled through by federal agents. They did not find
the documents they were searching for. Subsequently, I was arrested
and held without bail. The reason given by the FBI for no bail was
that I had recently traveled outside of the country. I was, therefore,
a flight risk. My wife, Nancy, was given the clothes on her back and
the keys to her car by the FBI. She was told to leave and not return.
It was interesting that the set of keys given to Nancy was the very
set that had been stolen with my briefcase in Miami two weeks prior.
In February, 1996 two Secret Service agents visited me while I was
being held in Tampa, Florida and warned me that I would be charged
with treason and either be executed or spend the rest of my life in
prison if I did not turn over the documents which I had prepared with
others for our protection through the years. A week later, under very
mysterious circumstances, treason became the primary crime for which I
was being held by the US Marshals.

COUNTY JAIL INMATE FACING MYSTERIOUS CHARGE OF TREASON
By David Sommer Tribune Staff Writer TAMPA - Dois Gene Tatum sits in
the Hillsborough County Jail on a treason charge, but nobody seems to
know why.
Tatum, 45, says he has a theory. While awaiting trial on fraud
charges, he has been working on a book about being a prisoner of war
in Vietnam, where he said he was sent on a secret, "one way mission"
into Cambodia.
But the book makes no mention of later work as an agent in CIA Black
operations," Tatum said in a telephone interview from Morgan Street
jail. Maybe someone is trying to make sure things stay that way, he says.
Jail offlcials say Taturn is being held on the treason charge at the
request of the U. S. Marshals' Service. Such a charge is highly
unusual. They said Tatum is not being held on the federal fraud
charges, although jury selection in that trial is scheduled to begin
Monday before U. S. District Judge Henry Lee Adams, Jr.
Tatum and codefendant Nancy Jane Tatum identified in court records as
his girlfriend with an alias of Nancy Fullilove, are accused of taking
more than $82,000 in federal money while Dois Tatum operated a
government-seized Hudson golf course.
Deputy U.S. Marshal David Jacobs, in charge of federal prisoners in
Tampa, said his records show Tatum is in custody solely on the fraud case.
"There is nothing in his file whatsoever related to treason," Jacobs said.
Federal prosecutors know nothing of the charge, said Assistant U.S.
Attorney Gary Montilla.
"CIA guys are generally charged with other kinds of espionage," the
prosecutor said. "My thought is it's a screw-up or some sort of
macabre joke."

TAMPA - It seems that Dois Gene Tatum is not facing a treason charge
after all. Tatum, awaiting trial on federal fraud charges, was booked
into the Morgan Street Jail on a charge of treason last week. Neither
the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, whic h runs the jail, or the
U.S. Marshals Service, which parked Tatum there for safekeeping, could
explain the origin of the treason count.
By Monday, jail records had been updated. "Booked in error," reads
Tatum's new computerized record. The treason charge is gone and a
fraud-embezzlement charge is entered in its place. Tatum, who is
listed in federal records as serving in both the Army an d Air Force,
Theorized that someone was trying to scare him into remaining silent
about secret missions he worked for the CIA. He said he is working on
his first book, about his experiences in Vietnam, where he was
captured while on a secret mission. But the book makes no mention of
his subsequent CIA activities, Tatum said.
Now, with the treason issue cleared up, Tatum is scheduled for trial
May 20 on Charges of taking more than $82,000 in federal funds while
managing a government owned property. A jury was selected Monday
before U.S. District Judge Henry Lee Adams, Jr. Als o Monday, Tatum's
wife and codefendant was on hand to pass out copies of a letter
seeking a publisher for Tatum's second book. "The author is offering
information on 18 covert mission, spanning from the Nixon
administration through the Bush administration ," the letter states.
Tatum, in a telephone interview from the jail, said he is not
concerned about provoking further retaliation from his former CIA
cohorts. "A good planner always has an ace in the hole, and they are
aware of my ace," he said. "If they want to send a messag e, I can
send a message, too.

I continued with Pegasus until 1992. In 1992 I had been directed to
"neutralize" an American Citizen (Attachment 9). To this point I had
successfully neutralized a Mossad agent, an Army Chief-of-Staff of a
foreign government and the President of a third w orld country, so
neutralization did not bother me. The fact that I was ordered to
neutralize a civilian American citizen went against all that I
believed in. I walked away from black ops that day. I was warned at
the time that you don't just walk away. I was aware of my precarious
situation.
Realizing the fate of those who quit, I began planning for my
retirement as far back as 1985. Since that time, I have documented my
activities and had them placed in a "safe zone". In 1994 I was told to
surrender the documents "or else". So, I sit in the "or else" position
- in a jail.
To surrender the documents is no doubt terminal. So, I had chosen an
alternative which Colby and North agreed to. I agreed to plead guilty
to charges in New York and Colorado. This would leave me a convicted
felon and completely incredible as a witness sh ould I choose to go
public. However, just prior to my being sentenced in Colorado by a
federal judge for wire fraud, my wife was charged with a complaint
filed in Tampa, Florida. I agreed only to allow prosecution against
me. When my wife was charged, th ey voided our agreement.
I have recently found that the grand jury witness used by the
government is a crony of Ollie North. In lieu of allowing the
persecution of my wife go unchallenged, I have decided to expose the
command elements of Pegasus to include their past and proposed

Dear Mr. Perot:
As you prepare your part for the 1996 election, there is a matter of
grave importance of which you should be aware.
In 1992, as the commander of a Black Operations Unit called Pegasus, I
was ordered to neutralize you. Our unit was directed by President
George Bush. It was determined, at some point, that the party you
formed was counter to the American system of democra cy. In his
attempt to justify your neutralization, Mr. Bush expressed not only
his concerns of the existence of your party and the threat which you
posed to free America, but also the positions of other U.S. and world
leaders.
I had been associated with Pegasus since its creation in 1985. The
original mission of our unit was to align world leaders and financiers
with the United States. I was personally responsible for the
naturalization [sic] of one Mossad agent, an army Chief of Sta ff of a
foreign government, a rebel leader and the president of a foreign
government.
However, all of these missions were directed toward enemies of the
United States as determined by our President. And because of this, I
did not hesitate to successfully neutralize these enemies.
The order to neutralize you, however, went against all that I believed
in. It was obvious to me that his order was predicated on a desire to
remain as President rather than a matter of enemy alignment. I refused
the order. I further advised the President and others that if you or
members of your organization or family were threatened or harmed in
any way, I would cause information, which includes certain documents,
to be disseminated from their six location in various areas of the
world, to various media and political destinations. I walked away from
Special Operations that day with the knowledge that you don't just
quit! I felt, however, that the time capsules protected my interests.
In September of 1994, I received a telephone call demanding the
information "or else"! It was obvious from the day that I walked out
of Pegasus that to turn this information over would be terminal. In
the spring of 1995, I was arrested by the FBI for wire fraud. Although
innocent of the allegations, I found it necessary to plead guilty in
an attempt to tarnish my credibility. It was my opinion, as I
expressed it to Rodriguez when he called and threatened me, that if I
were of questionable credibility, the documents, if ever made public,
may not stand on their merits.
With this arrest, I seized upon the opportunity to effect this theory.
I have since been indicted on a second fraud charge, this time
involving my wife. I will not allow this prosecution of my family. I
have notified the authorities that I intend to put m y case to a jury.
While awaiting the trial, I wrote a book involving my first experience
in the Special Operations arena. Since then, I have found that the
U.S. Marshals have instructed the Hillsborough County jail to hold me,
regardless of the outcome of the instant trial charge.
The new charge is treason. For over twenty years I have dedicated my
skills, time, and health to my country. I have been shot, tortured,
and beaten, fighting to protect our right to form and run our
government as determined by the Constitution. I am not aware of an
active Pegasus unit. I had assumed it was disbanded with the new
President. I am suspect to the existence of some organization, however
due to my present situation. Someone had to orchestrate this. So, be
aware and alert!

Chip said yesterday that the FBI put presssure on the parole board
which put
pressure on him to shut down his American Hostage site, but now his

is down also.
We have many law enforcement professionals as subscribers on our lists.
There are also numerous journalists. Our purpose has been to
expose corruption and urge reform. This objective becomes very
difficult when innocent persons are targetted for revenge.
Chip Tatum deserves better treatment than this. The man served his
country well and should be considered as a true hero. He has stood
against corruption and for integrity. What you see is only
part of a secret war fought by men and women on a playing field
that most cannot comprehend. We salute Chip Tatum.

We came upon two sources that validated this letter for the following
three reasons:
(1) No one in their right mind would publish "this" letter in public,
unless it was true. It is a Federal Crime to forge U.S. government
documents, especially those signed by the President of the USA, (2)
The letter is undated, according to an internet source, by law an
undated letter means an open operation with no date to terminate the
operation, and finally (3) from another internet source who
"personally knows" the Perot Family, the individual informed us, "the
reason why Ross Perot dropped out the Presidential race of 1992 [sic]
is because of this Letter, i.e. his life was threatened, and not by
some Crazy group but "Via information from this Letter." Conclusion:
this letter real and valid. (Is this what our country came

The Question arises: How did Ross Perot get these "Top Secret
Documents" and did he violate his national security clearance?
It is a matter of public record that in the 1980s, President Regan
asked Ross Perot to look into the MIA problem from the Vietnam War.
Mr. Perot was given the highest clearance to check all government
files. During the course of his investigation documents surfaced
concerning Vice Present Bush and drug trafficing, the CIA etc. Mr.
Perot realized that the Vice President at that time broke the law, and
there were several confrontations.
Vice President Bush said he did what he did for national security
reasons. Mr. Perot did not buy it, and realized that the Criminal Code
of the USA was broken by the VP. He also knew..if a federal employee
knows of a crime, he is obliged by law to report it and if not he, the
employee, commits a criminal act himself.
Consequently Mr Perot followed the law and did not violate his
security clearance or any laws of the USA. He was just trying to be a
"good citizen." and a "good federal employee".
Remember Mr. Perot was a "special government employee" under President
Regan, so he did report it. We are told that George Bush had Mr.
Perot's security clearance pulled. When VP Bush became President he
knew Ross Perot had documents that would incriminate him in these drug
dealings etc. When Mr. Perot was going to run for president, this
evidence was going to go public. In conclusion this is what
precipitated the above letter.

One of the most revealing incidents in the book is a conversation
recorded by one of Stich's informants, Gene "Chip" Tatum, a helicopter
pilot for the US Army and the CIA. Here's how Stich describes it:
"During one flight to Tegucigalpa on March 15, 1985, Tatum met with
William Barr, Michael Harari and Buddy Young, head of Governor Bill
Clinton's security detail." (Incidentally Buddy Young is currently the
Southwest Director of FEMA, appointed by his boss Bill Clinton.)
Tatum recorded this conversation spoken over the aircraft
intercom system. Harrari was a Mossad, Israeli intelligence agency,
operative.
"Young: Arkansas has the capability to manufacture anything in
the area of weapons and if we don't have it, we'll get it.
Harari: How about the government controls?
Young: The governor's on top of it. And if the feds get nosey,
we hear about it and make a call. Then they're called off. (looking at
the ground) Why the hell would anyone want to fight for a shithole
like this?
Harari: What we do has nothing to do with preserving a country's
integrity. It's just business and third world countries see their
destiny as defeating borders and expanding. The more of this mentality
we can produce, the greater our wealth. We train and we arm: that's
our job. And in return we get a product far more valuable than the
money for a gun. We're paid with product and we credit top dollar for
product [i.e., drugs]. Look, one gun and 3,000 rounds of ammo is
$1,200. A kilo of product [cocaine] is about $1,000. We credit the
Contras $1,500 for every kilo. That's top dollar for a kilo of
cocaine. It's equivalent to the American K-Mart special: buy four, get
one free. On our side we spend $1,200 for a kilo and sell it for
$12,000 to $15,000. Now that's a profit center. And the market is much
greater for the product than for weapons. It's just good business
sense. Understand?
Young: Damn. So you guys promote wars and revolutions to provide
weapons for drugs. We provide the non-numbered parts to change out and
we all win. Damn, that's good!
Harari: It's good when it works. But someone, how do you say,
has his hand in the coffer. Young: Well we get our ten percent right
off the top and that's plenty. Gofus can make it go a long way.
Harari: Gofus?
Young: Governor Clinton. That's our pet word for him. You know
they call the president 'Potus' for president of the United States.
Well, we call Clinton 'Gofus' for governor of the United States. He
thinks he is anyhow.
Harari: That's your problem in America. You have no respect for
your elected officials. They are more powerful than you think and they
have ears everywhere...
Young: Aw, hell, Mike. Everybody knows the Clintons want the
White House and will do anything to get it. We know about the cocaine.
Hell, we've picked it up before with Lasater when he was worried about
going on to Little Rock Air Base to get it.
Harari: So who are the players?
Young: Clinton thinks he's in charge, but he'll only go as far
as Casey [CIA Director] allows. Me and my staff, we keep the lid on
things, you know, complaints about night flying. Arkansas people are
private folks. They don't like a lot of commotion and Mena just isn't
the right place for the operation. It keeps us busy at the shredder,
if you know what I mean. Dan's the man [Lasater]. He does magic with
the money. Between him and Jack Stephens, we don't have to worry a bit..."
Pretty wild, huh? Stich writes that "William Barr, whom Bush
appointed to be the top law enforcement officer in the United States,
U.S. Attorney General, played a key role in the smuggling of drugs
into the United States. The drugging of America involved the CIA, the
military, the White House through Oliver North, George Bush and
Governor Bill Clinton among many others. Mena, Arkansas was a key CIA
trans-shipment point for cocaine coming into the United States on
return flights from Central America delivering guns to kill people in
Nicaragua."
So guess what? If there's money to be made, the Bush Mafia and
the Clinton Mafia work together. "After Clinton was elected President
of the United States, his administration and its Justice Department
halted all investigations and prosecution of the crimes related to
Inslaw, October Surprise, CIA drug trafficking and money laundering,
BNL, BCCI and Iraqgate," writes former FAA investigator Rodney Stich
in his book Defrauding America.
"Clinton had much to hide when he left Arkansas to assume the
presidency of the United States," Stich continues. "His misuse of
government facilities and power to feed his sex drive, his use of
drugs, his coverup of the CIA's unlawful arms shipments from Arkansas
and related drug trafficking, were crimes. The mysterious deaths,
killings and beatings of people possessing information that would
expose these corrupt activities added further to Clinton's problems.
He certainly needed a thick armor of protective officials in
government. Fortunately for him, the U.S. media kept the lid on these
major crimes."

FULL CIRCLE
In a very real sense, Chip Tatum's story has now gone full circle. In
March 1996, Tatum wrote to former Director of Central Intelligence,
William Colby. Readers will recall that it was Colby who originally
recruited Tatum into the CIA in 1971 and set him on his career as a
covert intelligence operator. Since that time, Tatum developed a
fondness for the super-spook, and Colby, in turn, played the role of
mentor. In his letter, Tatum asked Colby to write a foreword for his
book, Operation Red Rock, which he had completed just two months
earlier. But there was another purpose in writing to the former DCI.
Four years earlier, when Tatum resigned his OSG command, he had
volunteered to plead guilty on a felony charge in order to discredit
himself. This was part of Tatum's strategy of survival, as he was
aware that one didn't resign this particular team and remain alive for
long. The fact that he had collected a body of evidence (including
video and audio tapes and other related documentation) as 'life
insurance', gave muscle to his negotiation. At that time he had not
planned to reveal any of the details that he has now provided. In the
event, his offer was taken up and he served a prison sentence of just
over one year. That is where matters should have ended.
However, having served his sentence-thus complying with his part of
the agreement-both Tatum and his wife, Nancy, were subsequently
arrested and charged with another misdemeanour. Tatum got angry. His
letter to Colby stated: "I have always kept my word with you. I told
you that I would discredit myself. I don't need your help to
accomplish this. But to charge Nancy with a crime, and expect me to
allow this, is beyond my comprehension." He angrily continued: "I know
that North and Rodr�guez are the fuel for this, but haven't you warned
them that I wouldn't sit still for this?" He then added: "I do not
blame you for this; I am disappointed that you have allowed the 'Pond
Scum' to control you!"
There then followed a warning: "The second book that I have already
started will contain my movements from 1980 through today. I will not
only write about the missions but about the NWO [New World Order]
timetable and planned events including a chronology." Ominously he
added: "And I will name names. You must detach yourself from these
people!"
Tatum then continued by outlining how he would enter evidence for his
forthcoming trial and warning that if disallowed for reasons of
classification, then "a Special Prosecutor will be required to
investigate the information, and the videotape tells no lies." He
added: "I also had stills and an audio clip of a meeting added to the
video. Out of respect for you I have kept your name out to this point,
but if you don't separate yourself from these terrorists I will have
no choice but to reveal your involvement also. Either way, the group
will be exposed-by the media or by the investigating committee. Either
way, they're out of gas!" Tatum closed the letter by saying: "Mr
Colby-you've done too much for your country to be disgraced in the
manner that these men will be."
Less than two months later, the former DCI was reported missing. By
Monday 6 May 1996, Colby's body was found. It was later reported that
Colby died following a "canoeing" accident on the Wicomico River,
Maryland. Tatum and many others (including this writer) doubt this.
Throughout his life, Colby had an all-abiding fear of water. It would
have been entirely out of character for him to step voluntarily into a
boat, let alone a canoe.
Despite this, Colby's death officially remains an accident...

becomes CNO on Apr. 23, 1994 and is suicided May 16, 1996,
ten days after Mr. Colby's 'accident'.
