Angeles Times 7/2/02 Boston - "Five women have sued a Massachusetts diocese,
alleging that it failed to protect them when they were young children in the
1980s from sexual abuse by a Catholic priest who later served prison time for
raping a girl...Newman expects seven other women to join soon in the
lawsuit...against the Diocese of Worcester....The priest...is Robert
Kelley...who served seven years in prison after pleading guilty to raping a
girl in an unrelated case, ceased active work in the priesthood in 1985."

network have flown to the United States and rescued a six-year-old who was
being sexually abused. The officers investigating a highly sophisticated
network calling itself Shadowz Brotherhood found video film of the child
being raped when they raided one of the network members in Bradford, West
Yorkshire, last December....the Brotherhood was "a group of very
sophisticated hi-tech paedophiles who have come together to exchange
information. They had level of technical expertise we have not seen before."
The network included chat rooms and files on specialist paedophile interests
including one devoted to sexual abuse of babies. Mr Hynds said that the
contents of the material being passed was appalling and showed "an extremely
horrific abuse of children. Children being tortured and raped"....Six of the
Brotherhood, including one of the administrators, were arrested in Britain.
Raids were also carried out in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Spain and
Italy against more than 40 other suspects."
