You can stop participating in this so-called 'debate' if you wish, but you have failed to respond to several points, such as this, that I have raised so I consider the debate to be ongoing.
You did not come to this list to engage in any good faith discussion about Pacifica policy. You came here ostensibly to 'debate' Michael Ruppert, knowing that this is not a forum that Ruppert operates in and disingenously challenging him to a 'debate'. This is the wrong forum. If you want to debate him, attend one of his lectures or contact him directly or invite him formally to debate you in an appropriate forum.
The discussion here was based on a response by listener activists to attempts by Marc Cooper, Norman Solomon and yourself to censor Mike Ruppert. And the discussion was between those of us who have defended not only Rupperts right to be heard but the right of listeners to hear him, and those who were denying that this was in fact happening. *That* was the issue, and it is an issue that has been the subject of intense discussion at recent KPFA LAB meetings, especially because the efforts to censor Ruppert has strong overtones of the bad old days at KPFA. You came to this list in the context of that discussion.
I find your attempt to assume the garb of listener/activist at this point somewhat disingenous. You have already made clear your intention to make sure that Pacifica excludes 'certain voices', especially that of MIke Ruppert. I find your agenda to be antithetical to the mission of Pacifica and will oppose the efforts of you and anyone else to act as gatekeepers for the listeners on this network.
