Regardless of what people say, one thing is for sure, condemnation without investigation is the mark of the fool. In this light, I sought out internationally acclaimed world-class author Jim Marrs to get some answers. What he had to say is absolutely eye opening. Who is Jim Marrs? INTERVIEW Well Jim, thank you for this fantastic opportunity. It is a great honor to be able to ask you some questions. JC What started it all Jim, what put you on this track? JM Recently I had a High School reunion and had the opportunity to peruse some of the school newspapers that I helped produce back in the early 1960s. I realized that I have always been an advocate of openness and truth. I don't have any particular agenda to advance except I want to know the truth of what is happening around me. As a trained journalist I feel the need to communicate that truth to the public. My conclusions are based upon following all of the evidence of any particular issue. I could be wrong and I am always open to anyone with contradicting evidence. However " I don't believe that" or "I was not taught that" is not a good enough argument for me. JC It would appear to me that you are on a mission? If in fact you are on a mission, what is it that you want to get across to the American people, and for that matter, the people of the world? JM My main message is "THINK FOR YOURSELF". Having worked in and around the mass media for most of my life, I am only too aware of the control-both self-imposed and otherwise over the news media. Their greatest sin is omission. What you don't know can hurt you. In my book Rule by Secrecy, which was published before the 2000 election, I detailed how George W. Bush used insider trading to profit from his Harken Energy stock at the start of the Gulf War. This subject is only now being discussed in the major media. Today, one simply cannot rely on the corporate mass media to give an accurate picture of events. Television is particularly bad since it cannot usually take video of important stories (Financial, Political, etc.) that truly affect our lives. To break the spell of the corporate media, one must turn off the daily deluge of facts, data, spin, and minutia and take some time for quiet reflection and study. Then a true picture of the world begins to take shape. For example, a thoughtful review of U.S. Foreign Policy since World War II will explain the current hatred of America in certain parts of the world better than the day-to-day reports on terrorism which only serve to increase our own fear and hatred. JC Is it true? Is there an elite agenda? What have you found out? JM Back in the early 1960's when I heard claims of elite manipulation, I too considered this merely propaganda and paranoia. But after a near lifetime of study and investigation, the facts are clear. THERE INDEED IS A SMALL INNER-CORE ELITE OPERATING WITHIN WHAT I REFER TO AS THE SECRET SOCIETIES (THE TRILATERAL COMMISSION, COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS, BILDERBERGERS) TO MANIPULATE WORLD EVENTS AND MARKETS FOR THEIR OWN AGENDA. Their own publications state the agenda - globalism or as some call it, The New World Order. This agenda was clearly articulated by Strobe Talbot, President Clinton's Deputy Secretary of State and a leading Council on Foreign Relations member, in a 1992 interview published in "TIME" magazine: "In the next century (today), nations as we know it will be obsolete; all States will recognize a single, global authority. national sovereignty wasn't such a great idea after all." Let's think through this issue. Who will control the "single, global authority"? And what is our guarantee that some new Hitler-like dictator won't gain control of this global authority? Not only do we have no such guarantee but this global authority is being put into place without much public discussion or input. In fact, the general idea seems to be that merely discussing this is somehow only the purview of fringe "conspiracy theorists". Yet, decisions affecting our lives already are being made within the World Trade Organization rather than the US Congress. If this is truly the desire of the majority of Americans, so be it. But I don't believe they understand the situation and I know of no one who has ever had the opportunity to vote on whether or not to accept the dictates of the World Trade Organization. This does not sound like freedom to me but rather rule by secrecy and deceit! JC Do you see any connections between this secret clique and our government? If so, what is the connection between these people and our government? JM The connections between the Trilateral Commission and Council on Foreign Relations and the US Government are too numerous to list. All of Lyndon Johnson's closest advisers-his "wise men"--were CFR members and even the usually timid mass media was forced to recognize that the Jimmy Carter administration was overloaded with Trilateral Commission Members. Today it is just as bad but not given news coverage. While President George W. Bush has no direct membership in these societies, his two most prominent CONTROLLERS-father George H.W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney-both are ranking members of these societies. Other top Bush administration members include Elaine Chao, Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice, Donald Rumsfeld and Christine Whitman. We must ask ourselves if these globalists are truly operating in the best interests of the United States or their secret societies. JC Do you see any connection with the governments of other countries? JM Absolutely! The connection is within the secretive Bilderberger Organization. Here we find ruling heads of state such as British Prime Minister John Major as well as many members of European Royalty. These people are operating on a globalist agenda that encompasses many nations. JC What do they want? What is it they want to accomplish? Above all, to what end? JM 1. THEY WANT A NEW WORLD ORDER THAT INVOLVES A WORLDWIDE SOCIALIST SYSTEM OF BOTH CARE AND CONTROL - A WORLDWIDE SYSTEM THAT INCLUDES POLITICS, GOVERNMENT, ECONOMICS, FINANCE, TELECOMMUNICATIONS, HEALTHCARE, INTELLIGENCE AND EVEN A ONE-WORLD RELIGION HAS BEEN MENTIONED. ALL OF THIS SECURED BY A GLOBAL MILITARY OR "PEACE-KEEPING" FORCE. NATO IS CURRENTLY FULFILLING THAT FUNCTION. 2. OF COURSE, TO ADMINISTRATE SUCH A GLOBAL SYSTEM WILL REQUIRE CENTRALIZED CONTROL, MOST PROBABLY THROUGH THE EXISTING UNITED NATIONS. RECALL THAT ITS NEW YORK HEADQUARTERS SITS ON PROPERTY DONATED BY THE ROCKEFELLERS; WHO DOMINATE MEMBERS OF THESE SECRET SOCIETIES. ONCE GLOBAL CONTROL IS CONCENTRATED IN THE HANDS OF UN BUREAUCRATS, IT CAN BE EASILY UTILIZED BY THE WEALTHY ELITE. IN OTHER WORDS, THE AGES-OLD DREAM OF CONTROL OVER THE WORLD. 3. THE BOTTOM LINE, AS THEY SAY, WILL BE CONTROL OF THE PLANET AND ITS RESOURCES WHICH WILL MAINTAIN THE RULING ELITE'S MONOPOLIES. JM Their unimaginable wealth comes from their monopolies over energy, pharmaceuticals, industry, transportation, telecommunications and the media as well as from their control over such global financial institutions as The International Monetary Fund and The World Bank which are tied to the central banks including the US Federal Reserve. Another unnoticed and unreported source of their wealth, I believe, is from the wealth of Europe looted by the Nazis during World War II. Many of the leading corporations (STANDARD OIL, I.G. FARBEN, THE WORLD BANK, ETC.) as well as individuals (ROCKEFELLERS, PRESCOTT BUSH, JOHN FOSTER AND ALLEN DULLES AMONG OTHERS) have been connected through business dealings to the Nazis and may well be furthering their goal of world domination. JC Do you think such a clique could be behind the atrocities of September 11? If so, explain please. JM BASED ON ALL OF THE AVAILABLE EVIDENCE, THERE ARE ONLY TWO CONCLUSIONS TO BE DRAWN REGARDING THE TERRIBLE ATTACKS ON 9-11: 1. THAT THERE WAS INCREDIBLE BUMBLING AND LACK OF THOUGHT ON THE PART OF SENIOR GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS TO THE VERY PLAIN WARNINGS AVAILABLE REGARDING THE 9-11 ATTACKS OR 2. THE ATTACKS WERE ALLOWED TO TAKE PLACE TO FURTHER AN AGENDA WHICH INCLUDED TURNING THE UNITED STATES INTO A VIRTUAL POLICE STATE. THE LATTER VIEW IS THE BEST POSSIBLE LIGHT THAT CAN BE PUT UPON THE EVIDENCE. AT WORST, CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT BOTH OSAMA BIN LADEN AND HIS AL QUEDA MERCENARY NETWORK ARE CREATIONS OF OUR CIA AND FOREIGN POLICY, IT CAN LEGITIMATELY BE ARGUED THAT THE ATTACKS WERE INSTIGATED FROM WITHIN US INTELLIGENCE (TO INCLUDE OUR COVERT MILITARY UNITS) OR THE ISRAELI MOSSAD TO BRING ABOUT THE CURRENT WAR ON TERRORISM. THERE IS A CLEAR PATTERN OF TOP LEVEL GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE WITH THE FBI'S TERRORISM INVESTIGATION DATING BACK WELL INTO THE CLINTON ADMINISTRATION AND CONTINUING UNDER THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION, BOTH ADMINISTRATIONS BEING FILLED WITH SECRET SOCIETY MEMBERS IN PROMINENT POSITIONS OF AUTHORITY. JC If the whole thing has been manufactured, what is accomplished? How can it be proven? JM With the total cleansing of the World Trade Center crime scene by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, which was placed in charge of the investigation rather than normal police agencies such as the NYPD, NYFD, or FBI, we now will most probably never be able to prove what really happened. For example, to date no one has offered any explanation why surrounding buildings (BUILDING 9 AND 11 SPECIFICALLY) show signs of smoke and destruction even before the towers collapsed or why tower two collapsed first even though it was struck a glancing blow and had not burned for as long as tower one. This same precipitate destruction of evidence by federal officials also may be found in the WACO and OKLAHOMA city tragedies. What this accomplished is destruction of the primary evidence so that on one can credibly challenge the government's official pronouncements concerning the causes of these events. This methodology can be traced back to the machination of the Warren Commission and its pronouncements on who killed President Kennedy which today are widely disbelieved. In none of these cases mentioned here has there ever been a thorough and objective investigation, further evidence of high-level conspiracy or politics, if you prefer. JC Why NO REAL investigation of the many serious questions regarding the September 11 attacks? JM There have been no strenuous efforts to investigate this national tragedy chiefly because Bush and Cheney specifically asked for there to be none, citing the need for national cohesion. A timid and bought off congress acquiesced. Another factor is that the controlled corporate news media has settled for official pronouncements rather than demand an honest investigation or, better yet, mounted its own unbiased investigation. One good example is the European news media reports that Osama Bin Laden in July 2001 was treated at the American Hospital in Dubai and even visited by a known official of the CIA. This story is either true or false and demands investigation, for if it is false, such bogus stories must be laid to rest and if it is true, here is clear evidence of government (or at least CIA) knowledge of Bin Laden's whereabouts prior to 9-11. Yet, none of our so -called news media has made any effort to probe this story. Considering the news budgets of CNN, CBS, NBS, ABC, etc. What would it cost to send one reporter to Dubai to confirm or deny this story? Yet the effort has not been made. The reason is clear. THE OWNERS OF OUR MAJOR NEWS MEDIA (VIACOM, TIME-WARNER-AOL, DISNEY, GE, ITT, ETC.) ARE ALL OWNED BY THE VERY ELITE THAT WE ARE DISCUSSING HERE AND THEY DON'T WANT ANY SHAKEUP OF THE STATUS QUO. EVEN IN LIGHT OF THE GROWING NUMBER OF STORIES CONCERNING BOTH GOVERNMENT AND CORPORATE WRONGDOING, THE MASS MEDIA LITANY REMAINS "STUFF HAPPENS, FOLKS, BUT THE SYSTEM STILL WORKS." JC In your opinion, who has benefited the most from this crisis? Do you think it's the Military Industrial Complex or the dynastic banking families? JM It is quite clear from even a cursory examination of the news since 9-11 that the primary beneficiaries of the attack were the Bush administration and Israel. Both were presented with both a provocation and justification for implementing LONG-STANDING PLANS - CONSOLIDATING CENTRAL CONTROL AND SECURING THE CENTRAL ASIAN GAS PIPELINE IN THE CASE OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION AND THE ATTACKS UPON THE PALESTINIANS IN THE CASE OF ISRAEL. In either case, you find both of these areas of study track back to the globalist agenda. And, of course, what President Eisenhower described as the "MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX " as well as the intelligence community have benefited greatly. It is amazing to me. If one were the owner of a large corporation and the highly paid security chief lost some of the company's most precious assets, would you fire him and get someone more competent or double his salary? In this case, we have doubled their salary. Can we now expect twice the failure for our money? The Israel Mossad is widely acknowledged as the most efficient and effective intelligence service in the world and their annual budget does not pass the billion mark. We have spent hundreds of billions and look what we got for it. The Mossad however may not be distracted by the importation of illegal drugs like the CIA. JC What recourse do we have as a people if all of this is true, and it seems to be! If in fact this is going on, how can it be stopped? JM Education is the key! As a population, we must begin to educate ourselves to the realities of the world and stop being whipsawed by the mass media spin. As individuals, we must shake off the conditioning process and begin to think for ourselves. Then take action, such as educating our friends and neighbors, writing letters to the media and to our politicians demanding truth and justice and taking an active role locally such as service on city councils, school boards, etc., not for the position and pay but to make our communities well functioning and free. As has been discovered in the field of quantum physics, the sheer act of observation changes the object being observed. As a significant portion of the population becomes knowledgeable to the truth of the world, this sheer knowingness, will itself alter the situation. Nothing will remain the same. Actually, it is changing even now. JC Any last words or thoughts you wan to add? To me the single most proof of a conspiracy afoot is simply this: NO ONE CAN ARGUE THAT TODAY THE HUMAN RACE HAS THE TECHNOLOGICAL CAPABILITY TO ASSURE ADAQUATE FOOD, WATER, SHELTER AND BASIC HEALTHCARE FOR EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON THE PLANET EARTH. YET, EVEN AS YOU READ THIS, SOMEWHERE ON OUR WORLD THERE IS SOMEONE, MOST PROBABLY A CHILD, DYING OF MALNUTRICIAN OR SOME CURABLE DISEASE. WHY? BEYOND THE RATIONALIZATIONS OF COST, DISTRIBUTION, POLITICS, ETC., IS THE SIMPLE EXPLANATION THAT IT IS THIS WAY BECAUSE SOMEWHERE THERE IS SOMEONE WHO WANTS IT THIS WAY.
