The quickly deflating stock market bubble was the greatest in all history, bigger then the 1920's. It took the market 24 years, till 1954 for the market to regain the highs reached in 1929 - of those companies that survived (most didn't). The post bubble shambles that will be left after this bubble fully deflates will exceed that of 1929 by as much as the bubble exceeded it.
