I have a right to speak out against the cult of buggers and baby butchers who are your owners and have owned a long line of puppet presidents going back at least as far as Trotsky, the New Yorker. "The Simpsons" referred to "Mormon Whoredom" in one of the show's lines a few months back. Are you living in a state of "Methodist Whoredom"? There are millions of people like yourself in the US who call themselves "Methodists". Can they not put their heads together and spell out what a Methodist "City of God" would be like? That is what the pope called for us to build when he visited Toronto recently. Was he speaking as loosely as a drunk in a beer parlour? "City of God" is not the exclusive intellectual property of Roman Catholics. Anybody can tell us what their City of God would be like. I wonder what Saddam's Iraqi Muslims would submit in that context if the "Turner Tomorrow Awards" were revived? You remember how Ted Turner of CNN, ca. 1990 had given a very generous sum of money in a contest to design a "City of Tomorrow" which would solve ecological and other pressing problems. Let's ask Mr. Turner if he will do it again. And let's ask President Hussein if he will donate the site around the Babylon Restoration Project for the construction of the planetary CITY OF TOMORROW ... Babylon II. Maybe Warner Brothers will put some money into it as well. There won't be any Babylon II, III, IV and V if your Iraq attack turns into "Armageddon" as General Scowcroft expressed it. But let's give the Christian Heritage Party leader a chance to be fair about this. Is he an Anti-Semite in general or only Anti-Semitic when it comes to Muslim Semitic people? The Jews as well as the Muslims have presented theological challenges to Christianity. There is a complete genre of Anti-Christ literature coming from Jewish authors and some of these books have become best-sellers. Examples: Schonfeld's "The Passover Plot"; Maccoby's "The Myth Maker: Paul and the Invention of Christianity"; Cohn, "The Trial and Death of Jesus". The best the Jews can come up with to say in Christ's favour is that "He was a nice guy" which is disingenuous. "Nice guys" do not say the things attributed to Christ in the Gospels. Another Jewish position is that the Gospel Story is a complete "invention", a fabrication made up after the time referred to for which there was either no historical figure at all or at best a more or less ordinary man. But the standard Jewish position must be that of the Talmud as the Steinsaltz edition Talmud (available in VPL, Mr. Gray) says on the jacket that the Talmud is the foundation of all Jewish law and practice. Thus I'll select my first point from the Talmud. (1) What do you say to the Jews who claim that Jesus is the bastard son of a loose woman (ie the Virgin Mary)? If you go to Josh McDowell's Campus Crusade for Christ best-seller, "Evidence That Demands a Verdict" you will find some of these quotes from the Talmud. Remember, Mr. Gray, these Jews also claim HISTORICAL VERACITY, ie while the Talmud was not written until several centuries AD, it carries with it the oral history passed on from the time of Christ and before that time. (2) Factual errors in the Gospels include the two enormously different geneologies given to Jesus and there is another disagreement between Gospels re the day-before/day-after Passover (I can't recall off hand which it was). Given these PROVEN ERRORS in the Gospels, why should one not apply REASON to establish what is true about the Gospels, in light of the words from the De Sola Poole Traditional Jewish Prayer Book, that "Judaism has never called for an unreasoning faith"? (Also refer to Isaiah, "Let us reason together saith the Lord". (3) There is no justification in Scripture for worshipping a man. That is idolatry and heresy. It is no better than worshipping a golden calf. (Also remember that Jesus Christ said "Hear O' Israel, the Lord our God is one" and also said, "God is spirit".) When I wrote to various MP's, asking what the definition or meaning in law of this "God of Canada" might be, Mr. Mills sent me about 80 pages of Hansard from 1981 when the inclusion of the supremacy of God clause was debated and Mr. Boudria wrote me a letter saying to ASK THE RELIGION EXPERTS. I am asking. Who can best define the "God of Canada"? Christians? Muslims? Jews? I will say it again, Mr. Gray. Christians have been articulating Christian Culture for 2,000 years. Scores of "officially" Christian cultures were spawned throughout history. Why do you run away from this issue, even while faltering along with a few political-religious jingoisms to say what a Christian nation or culture would be like? Why are you so CONFUSED? Is there anybody in your party who is clear-minded on this? After all, "God is not the author of confusion". Because people like you promulgate the evil of confusion rather than honest questions and answers, Christian culture becomes lost from history, extinct. Muslims have about 50 Muslim nations.
