-Caveat Lector- It is apparent that we are fast moving to that realm of American "Nazification".  A poor term to use here perhaps because of its broad meaning but still appropriate in light of the tendency of this administration to uproot the law and to overturn the Constitution as well as enforcing the will of the elite leaders both in this country and beyond.
The state of lethargy is so numbing in this country people really have been bled of all of their will regarding things that they once felt very strongly about.  Intrusive governmental investigation, vast wiretapping powers, "super" data-bases that can "predict" future events.  All of these used to promote huge public outcry, not now, not "post 9/11".  It seems to me to be TOO nicely put together, TOO neatly packaged.  All of this is leading us to the brink.  I was one of those who half jokingly said in 1999 that IF Bush ran he would win, and sure enough he was installed, and he will be reelected and then I doubt there will be any more elections, as our state of emergency and war status becomes permanent.  US government, Multinational corporations all having their way with each of us and not a damned thing we can do about it.
