In case anyone's lost track of things, there has been an escalation in recent years, unlike any seen before in terms of lethality or frequency. Your tax dollars are supporting this escalation. After a time, the people who are expected to reduce the friction and smooth the tensions just don't care any more. One side is going to use what they have and the opponents are going to use what's available to them. The loser is, again, the American taxpayer who gets to help build up this Israelien Goliath to the point where Abn David comes along and knocks him out.
