Hi all,

I've been think quite a bit about icons recently.

Over the years, professionally, I have been required to work with The Real MWM.
While it leaves much to be desired in many ways, I have come to fall in love
with the Iconbox. It's simple, clean, and dependable.

The FVWM Iconbox isn't nearly as easy to work with, but it can be much
prettier, since I'm not limited to mono XBMs.

I yearn for a CTWM iconbox and I hereby promise to code one sometime soon,
however, in the interim I was wondering if we could get a quick-fix in.

MWM (and FVWM) provide a clipping service to keep the icons under control.
There a MaxIconSize and a MinIconSize and they take args like 64x64 and
32x32. Anything larger than that is clipped and smaller is padded into a
box.

CTWM's IconRegion works... sometimes. And sometimes it does not. If
an icon is larger than the grid size that you give, it simply gives up and
plunks the icon somewhere. If the IconRegion is full, it gives up in the
same way.

The IconBox will solve the 'region full' problem, but if we could get clipping
working (or a tougher IconRegion) I would be in heaven.

Any and all comments appreciated.
