Dear all,

After many, may years of being a happy CTWM user, I now see no other
option that start looking for another window manager.

The reason is that there are some very annoying bugs in CTWM that I
have been uncapable of finding/fixing, and noone else did. Apparently,
very few people are using the AutoRaise with RaiseDelay feature of
CTWM, so it is probably not worth bothering the whole CTWM community.
Fact is, that with these settings, many modern applications like
Mozilla and OpenOffice.org have problems with focus management and the
mapping of the menus, causing them to disappear before you can do
anything.

I want to express my thanks to Claude and the CTWM community. Except
for GNU Emacs, there's no other tool I've been using for such a long
time.

My final question is: what would be a suitable replacement for CTWM?
I'm very attached to its lightness, no clobbering decorations,
the work spaces, ultimate keystroke control, and autoraise with delay.
Suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,
        Johan
