Hi,

I've been using ctwm since 1993 and I'm very glad to see that there is
still a page and even a mailing list for it :-)

I was trying to use wmctrl (http://www.sweb.cz/tripie/utils/wmctrl/)
to focus and raise a specific window from the command line. But according
to the wmctrl page, ctwm doesn't support EWMH, so it doesn't work.

Is there any chance that EWMH will be implemented in ctwm? I'm not sure
how actively ctwm maintained and developed...

Or is anyone aware of some other way to raise and focus a window with a command from outside ctwm, using the id one got from xdpyinfo? I need that to use the external-edit program (http://shreevatsa.wordpress.com/2006/12/29/editing-textareas-in-an-external-editor/)
with ctwm.

cu,
Frank
