[ctwm] xen virt-manager failure with ctwm

I am at ctwm 3.8a and when using xen virt-manager gui on centos 5.2 
(which is python gtk script) the popup shells show with just a few pixel 
size and when mapped crash the gui. This does not happen with other 
window managers like twm or openbox.
Does anyone have any remedy for that?
