Seconded!

Just now I have finally pushed the remaining OnTopPriority changes to my
branch (ctwm.rhialto.cleanup). Yay!

I had hoped to do it yesterday, but I ran into a couple of scenarios I
hadn't tried before, which then tripped the consistency check. As
before, it was about some assumptions that the check made which aren't
always true if you use virtual screens, but also cases where the virtual
screen code simply wasn't as consistent as could be wished. I think I've
cleaned it up considerably in this regard. That alone is probably a good
enough reason to use it.

I've made it do multiple levels of consistency checking. At the default
level it does some checks and terminates with a message if they fail. At
debug level it prints a lot of tracing messages and does extra checking.
And for production use (-DNDEBUG) the checks would be omitted entirely.
(Even if they should fail, at worst the depth arrangement would be
wonky).

So now I have to resist the urge to do more twiddling... so that the
bzr conversion can happen in peace.
